Nah from what I read, they're making it seem like he's "fallen" for her. His sister comes to see him, and Silver thinks he's hugging another girl so she walks away but it's just a misunderstanding so Teddy tells his sister that Silver is the girl he "can't have" because he saw her halik Dixon.
