RIGHT!!! Ive been into Series Of Unfortunate Events for ages...... does anyone ACTUALLY know if another movie is coming out??

no i don't know if there's really going to be another movie. but if there is the director sinabi he wants it to be in a different medium than the first movie. so probably animation, which I think is rediculous. you can't go from real actors to animation, it ruins the continuity of the movie, but whatever. I say they should either try to get the same actors as before (although they're a lot older now) or find actors that look slightly like them. Because changing the medium just doesn't make sense to me. :/

I heard that Daniel Handler sinabi that still to this day(July 2010), him and the director are trying to work something out. He sinabi that there will need to be new actors so it won't be the same. But they already ruined the whole V.F.D. apoy fighting thing with the first movie, so it would be difficult for them to still make it a mystery. Plus, no offense to Jim Carrey but he kind of ruined the villainy of Count Olaf.

i don't think so judging sa pamamagitan ng the way that it ended it was only the first three for a reason after that it's just miserable and depressing they didn't wnat their audiences to stop watching it so they ended it with count olaf getting punished and then running away and they figured out the bauldelair mystery sorry highly doubt another one will be made after that ending

I have hoped for 6 years that there will be a sequel, but at this point I don't think so. If they ever did, I hope the original actors come back [I don't care if they are older they are great!!]Maybe they can tweek it a little bit and make the characters grown up or something.

Not that I have hears of but if so they should make a separate film for each book especially the tenth. I hope they r though :)
