Candice Accola
"The best payo my dad ever gave me is, 'No does not mean never. It just means not yet.' So not every audition, you're gonna get but as long as you know it wasn't meant for you then you'll get the susunod one."

"Sometimes with music, when I'm writing, I say things that are not exactly what I'm trying to say, but it just conveys the emotion that I need to get out. It's all just a way of expression. I'm still trying to figure out the difference between them both. I feel fulfilled in my soul, when I'm pag-awit and when I'm acting, but it's in a very different way. pag-awit is you. You're putting your own words and your guts on the page."

(On her hair) "Red Heads have madami fun but I always felt like I was wearing a wig. I feel most like myself as a blonde."

"Most of my free time is spent furnishing my new apartment in Georgia; especially searching for albums to feed my new found record collecting addiction. I can't seem to get enough LPs! I've also been pag-awit with an 80's cover band that our crew guys put together for the balutin party and hope we keep it up for season two!"

(On who her role mga model are) "My parents. Their tenacity at life, love, and work constantly inspires me."

(On balancing her life) "I do my best to look at the bigger picture and not sweat the small stuff. I make it a point to have alone time. I value that some of life's best moments happen over a meal with your family or a glass of wine with your friends. And when life seems like a lot to bear, I dance around like a kid until I laugh."

Nina Dobrev
(if ibingiay a chance at immortality) "I don't know if I'd want it. I live a pretty cool life, so I'm happy where I am."

"I think everyone's dream is to be an actress, but I never really thought it was going to happen. Now that it's happening, it's incredible. I do a lot of other things, too. I'm not stuck in this little world. I'm aware that we're in the middle of an economic crisis in the U.S. There's a lot going on in the world, and I'm really happy and excited about what I have and I don't take it for granted. I'm pretty lucky."

"I didn't have a stage mom at all. I was the one who planned out my auditions and drove myself an oras and a half into the city."

"I film so much and I'm working so much that when I do get even a Saturday off or a Sunday off or any time off, I just literally -- I'm a hermit -- just watch pelikula or sleep or just hang out with my close mga kaibigan and relax."

"When I have an audition I don't pick up the phone, I sit at tahanan and I dissect the scenes to the bone. There's a lot of time and work that goes into it."

(on being part of "Degrassi: The susunod Generation") "It's changed my life a lot, in many different ways. I came into it really new to the business, didn't really know much. I learned everything on set here, made some really good friends. Everyone's really positive - I pag-ibig it."

"Every role is a challenge. I want to keep doing everything... I want to try to do things that aren't similar to one another."

(referring to playing a teenage mother) "It was challenging because it's not me. I went to a lot of web sites that dealt with teenage pregnancy. I read a lot of stories about girls having to go through what Mia did [Mia is Nina's character on Degrassi]. There's the alienation factor and there are all the stories and rumors, having everybody judge you. It isn't easy."
