I enjoy making toffee, and I pag-ibig how everyone gets happy when they have a taste of the sweet, buttery kendi which, when properly made, is just hard enough to provide a crunch, but crumbles without hurting the teeth (like brittle sometimes can if it's made too thick).
It's really simple to make... just melt butter, sugar, a pinch of salt, and a little vanilla extract at the end. To make English toffee, amerikana with tsokolate and tuktok with almonds.
