A New Era In Jasper: Chapter 1, The death of a leader

The morning after Kate's father had died, Kate decided to visit his grave all sa pamamagitan ng herself. Her and Humphrey had not yet told their son and daughter, Christie and Dennis, that their grand father had passed away, so Humphrey was in charge of telling them while Kate was away.

While Kate was walking to her dad's grave, she thought to herself, 'Wow, it's been such a terrible taon with death, first Tony(he died of old age), then Garth(he died in a hunting accident along with two other wolves) and now Winston'.

Finnaly, she had gotten to her destination, her father's grave. She went a grabbed a bulaklak with her mouth, and carried it to her father's grave. A tear ran down her cheek as she sinabi several prayers for her dad. Her dad was burried in the same graveyard as TOny and Garth, infact, Winston was only several graves over.

She wondered if Humphrey had already told Dennis and Christie. She wondered if anyone else would die anytime soon. tanong like that kept popping into her mind. Thge pain of losing her father was very intense on her, Eve and Lilly.

Kate began to remember memories of her and her father, from the time she was just a pup, to the araw before he died. This gave her a headache. It pained her so much she had to go home, so she once again set off for home.

When she got home, she was greeted sa pamamagitan ng Dennis, Christie, and Humphrey. Then she noticed that three other mga lobo were there too, Lilly and her son Camaron. Eve was there too.

"Mom, I'm so sorry to hear that grandpa died." Dennis sinabi trying not to cry.

"Kate, can I talk to you outside for a second?" Eve asked.

"Sure, why not." Kate replied wondering what it was about.

The two mga lobo went outside together and Eve began to speak.

"Kate, now that your father has passed away, I can't run the pack sa pamamagitan ng myself anymore, I need you and Humphrey to take my place. Hutch already agreed to train Humphrey how to be an alpha wolf." Eve said, somewhat worried.

"Ok then, does Humphrey know?" Kate replied somewhat worried and somewhat excited.

"Don't worry, he knows" Eve replied.

"Ok then" Kate said.

"Well, let's go back inside then Kate." Eve said.

"Ok, I'll be there in a sec." Kate replied.

After Eve went inside, Kate walked to the edge of the cliff and whispered, "Take care dad", and then she walked back inside her den.

The Making of my Stories: References in the Timeline

There are a ton of references in the timeline mainly because with the inclusion of dates, I could slip a lot of fun stuff in there. Right off the bat, any time September 17th is mentioned, that’s a reference to the first movie because that’s the petsa it came out.

First off, we have two fictional character birthdays, August 1st, and December 9th, which are the birthdays of The Joker and Oliver reyna (a.k.a The Green Arrow) respectively. susunod is March 15th, 1975 which is the araw that Terror of Mechagodzilla came out in Japan.

The susunod petsa is another movie release date. Arnold’s birthday,...

I guess you could count Fran and Freida’s inclusion in chapter four to be a callback to the fourth movie when they were introduced, and Runt became “King of the Forest”. Also, their idea to hide Oscar in Shadow Forest is a callback to the fourth movie.

When Stinky is telling Martin about how when they were pups, Runt would come tahanan with quills in his paws because he kept giving the porcupines hugs, that’s a reference to the fifth movie when Kate finds out that that’s why she’s constantly pulling quills out of him.

Having Viggo’s redemption take place on Kate and Humphrey’s twenty-fifth anniversary was completely intentional, which consequently gave me the time needed for Lydia to have her pup, which I named Josh, after myself. Why? I just thought it would be kinda cool. And it also helped the story because when Humphrey tries to kill Viggo upon seeing him, that means that for the past half year, he’s still held onto this hate for what Viggo did.
