“The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.” Psalm34:7(KJV)
There are mga kerubin all around us, placed there as ministering sprits to help and deliver us. I have been pagbaba this scripture for so long and I really never got it, until yesterday the pastor read in church a scripture that I must share in order for us to see how much God has his mga kerubin all around us protecting, and not only protecting but delivering us from all things.
Let’s briefly look at this story and you may read it in 2 kings 6. The king of Aram was angry at Elisha because he was a prophet of Israel and God would ipakita him what was going on even in Aram’s kama room. So Elisha would tell the king of Israel all the secrets of Aram’s army, so that Israel would know his battle plans. Aram sent out an army of horses and men to surround the city where Elisha was and ordered them to capture him. When Elisha awoke in the morning he saw the city surrounded with an army come to capture him, his servant began to panic.
“When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the susunod morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked. Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are madami than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of apoy all around Elisha.” 2Kings6:15-17(NIV)
The hills were full of horses and chariots of apoy all around Elisha. An army of mga kerubin surrounded Elisha. Elisha sinabi “those that are with us are madami than those who are against us.”
mga kerubin encamp around us every day, ready to deliver us, and they are always madami than the army of the devil that seek to bring us harm. That is why God sinabi in his word, we already have the victory, the battle is already won. If the Lord could just open our eyes like he did for Elisha’s servant and cause us to see. There are multitudes of mga kerubin encircling us, ready to protect and deliver us from all that come our way.
The bible says they encamp, they never leave. They are always there. They go before us too and make our path straight. I sometimes wonder about angels, a lot of us do, but the bible says they are there waiting to deliver us. So be assured today as you walk, there are mga kerubin watching over you. What an exciting thought.
