Well the first anime i saw and loved was Vampire Knight. It has romance, vampires, and drama and a hint of comedy and drama. its a good starter. anime. I also liked Hetalia, not so much but it's ok. But my fav anime is Kuroshirsuji. It's kinda gothic but funny, has action and hot charecters. So yeah Vampire Knight and Kuroshitsuji. hERE is a video o the first part of the first ep of Vampire Knight.

Well here u go my paborito anime... It has great romance, action and story is unbelievable. The name is Fate\stay night... I put iugnay of whole anime on fanpop... U have it on 8, 9, 10 and 11 page. Well, I recomend either Powerpuff Girls Z or Tokyo Mew Mew.

One Piece! It's an awesome anime with action, humour and mga kaibigan staying sa pamamagitan ng each other. Even the fillers are funny. Don't watch the dubbed version though, it does the anime no justice.

well if you are looking for an anime but romance is not you main thing I will recommend you to see the no. anime in my listahan the anime serie's is called fate/stay night it's an anime that contain's everything romance action drama tragedy comedy epicnes magic pantasiya piece of life legend and etc. i really really recommend that you see this show. this ipakita is really amazing no matter how you look at it trust me you will not regret spending time watching this show.

Probably watch Pokemon or Digimon. They're both really good animes to watch (even for a newbie)and they still make both of them.(If you don't know, Patamon is a Digimon from seasons one and two, while Pikachu is a Pokemon that has been in the series since episode one.)

xxxHOLiC,it's not really a romance thing but it's a great anime/manga but I suppose you already know about it since you've seen Tsubasa Chronicles.I'd also suggest Bleach or Gundam,because they're awesome.

Sailor Moon is a good long series to get into.

I recomend Tsubasa cause it has adventure with suttle hints of romance.
And Elemental gelade its about a girl named ren who has powers because shes an eldel raid and a boy named Cou van Guirret decides to protect her from all the hunters trying to capture her for her powers.
all eldel raids have a special stone on their body thats their elemental gelade thats were the name comes from
