I heard a rumor going around that the US is banning anime, is it true
Thank you, and i agree with you, that if the US ever banned anime that it would loss alot of money and i would protest as well. If the US banned anime i think, it would be the begining of the end of the world. oh, and xxtaysuicunexx, at first you appear to be a asshole, but you make one hell of an arguement, and i have to respect that.

i watch ayem every day. some animes that not many people know of have a ton of episodes. i watched FULL lucky bituin episodes and InuYasha, and ranma 1.2 episodes yeeyerday. they were ALL on youtube

I doubt it. HIGHLY. Do you know how many BILLIONS of dollars America makes just on anime alone? It'd be dumb to ban something that is actually keeping at least some of the economy stable. Not only are there lots of "CONS" for it but also some pretty major companies that do translations and printings for the U.S. I heard Tokyopop went down which was a huge International anime business so the anime thing kinda took a hit which would result in a somewhat lack in the anime industry and then someone probably sinabi "Oh yeah there's s shortage in anime because the US in banning it!" Not true. I don't think anime is ever going to go out for at least a couple hundred years so shutting that out would only hurt our economy more.
I'm pretty sure Sqaure Enix would be pretty pissed too since they actually do anime artwork of their games (Mostly Final pantasiya and Kingdom Hearts). If they banned anime and Square Enix sinabi "Fine we're out of here" there woould be no video games... Seriously, they have taken part in making like every game...even Halo. For hell's sake they just bought Lara Croft. Square Enix practically runs the gaming industry which is also keeping American economy afloat. The American government officials are dumb, but I don't think they're THAT dumb.
what a FAKE rumor. i heard this one about 8 years ago. look now! its been 8 years and nothing has happened. but that rumor did give me a laugh. just dont believe it
