The 2003 anime was made first, so it is the original. I watched it years before brotherhood, so maybe that has something to do with me not liking it. Or, perhaps I really did like brotherhood, but I just didn't like the part with Whine-ry.

@ bubblegum_kiss for some yea like Baccano! ( still wanna see madami of it tho lol) but others being open ended meaning: they where never finished or continued. Loveless an 07 Ghost are 2 madami i was unsatisfied with

@Okuni. Actually, I did. I read the manga, and several, if not all, of the omakes and when the anime came out, I throughly enjoyed watching most of it, but hated the VERY ending. But I pag-ibig how you automatically assume that I didn't read/watch it just because I didn't enjoy the ending.

The ending plot was a little unadvanced and simple, but it was satisfactory. But the excution of the actual ending was total rubbish, and it stopped with many ideas and possibilities left and very much things left unsolved. The artwork looked like it was a total failure in the 3D effects. It should've deserved much better. It was a really good anime.
