But in all seriousness. I actually like a lot of Disney pelikula myself. Also what would you think if I told you that Japan, the ones who make your precious anime, often like Disney princess movies? Really, I go on Japanese sites often. It's a lot like English speakers' pag-ibig for anime. So... do you have different nakakita on them now? Because it's true.

Disney is not without it's problems.....

They are basically the 4Kids of fairytales. I have a collection of original fairy tales dating back to gawd knows when & they were hardly child friendly. Disney HAD to whitewash & water them down to make them palatable to children, but still, they are very condescending, especially to women.

Strong: Adding Gestan to Beauty & the Best made it suprior to the original tale.

Weak: Letting Ariel live. The Little Mermaid was supposed to be about "look before you leap" & "don;t try to be what you're not." Instead it's about an idiot who abandons her family for a chance at marrying the first guy she sees. A guy who, in the original tale, was already engaged to another woman.

Strong: Getting rid of the rape, murder, cannibalism, & adultery from the original Sleeping Beauty.

Weak: Mulan was both culturally insulting & ruined the beautiful tragic ending of the original.

Strong: Great mouse Detective, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Lion King, Fantasia, the animated pelikula & TV series featuring Disney trademarked characters, live action pelikula they did before the 80s, the retro musical toons.

Weak: Their sequels amount to poorly written fanfiction. & they won't admit that The Lion King is a complete ripoff of Jungle Emperor Leo.

Personally, I pag-ibig Disney movies. Always have, always will. But since I got into anime I watched madami anime than Disney. So I like both, but if I had to choose, I'd have to go with anime because I'm madami attatched to it. Even with that said, I definately do NOT agree with your harsh opinon. I'll still always pag-ibig Disney! <3
