Who is the most annoying self-centered anime character?

Mine, would be Excalibur from Soul Eater, for the obvious reasons:

Actually I pag-ibig Alois. <3 And I believe that there is definately madami to his personality than him being just self-centered. He is but examining his past; we can understand why he acts like that. He is madami of a sadist in my opinion.

That's no reason to act harshly. Yes, he Nawawala his 'brother' and after that he got all messed up. However, Ciel loses his parents and watches his tahanan go up in flames. Did HE act like that? No. Alois isn't just self centered from his past, he always seemed to have it in him... even when he was younger. I don't like him at all, but this is just my opinion.

^ And I really see what you say. And I totally understand you. There are people who either pag-ibig him or hate him. And I do not blame you for hating him. I just like complex characters like him X3

Kirito from Sword Art Online... It's just annoying how he's the most powerful person, who get's the girls and is pretty much impossible to defeat... Oh, and somehow he get's to the break the rules of the game just because he's the main character. I can understand why he has two weapons, while others have only 1. Since this is because he won the other one, but the other occasions just don't really have a good reason. .-. Just my opinion.

I thought I would never see an anime character that beats Catherine ( Kaze No Stigma ) in the annoying and self-centered category , but I have to say Misa beat her sa pamamagitan ng a long shot ( Death Note ) .
