Post anime series where you liked their English dubbed version, but didn't care for the Japanese version.

I just could not get into the Japanese voices. I guess it's because I watched it first in English and then I tried to rewatch the series in Japanese and couldn't do it.
English voice actors just nailed it!

Also Hetalia.... just too fast and confusing in Japanese. Plus the english version has accents which is pretty awesome.

Digimon
I watched it a few years ago, back before I knew what anime was... Naruto was my first anime, but I think I saw Digimon and Pokemon around the same time. When I started watching anime with subs, I adjusted to most, FMA, Bleach, Naruto, Pokemon(before they were the most loved/hated anime/cartoons). I could just never get used to seeing them with different names and voices.

I usually think both the English dub and Japanese sub are equally good but four series that I personally liked the best in their dub were Beck Mongolian Chop Squad, Ghost Hunt, xxxHolic ((picture)), & Code Geass.

For me it'd have to be CardCaptors.
I watched it when I was a little kid so naturally I watched it in english.
I didn't want to get into the Japanese version because some of the characters names changed and I wouldn't be able to handle that emotionally cause I fell in pag-ibig with their english names and voices.
I also have a Kero Beros toy at tahanan I've had forever >.<
And my cousin might be getting me the cards and wand >.<

Fullmetal Alchemist!! Because one araw I was watching it on youtube on Funimation and I was getting into it and so I was watching the english dub and then I think I was on 4 or 5 episode I click it and when I was starting it I heard Edward and Al voices OMFG!! The Voices were so bad I hate it so much but the one voice I hated the most was Al! I couldn't finished the episode it was that bad!!

Pretear for me. I watched it in English first then I tried it in Japanese. The sub wasn't exactly bad but I just didn't really like or care for it like the English dub.

My bride is a mermaid-The Japanese voice actors lack the enthusiasm that makes the anime the silly, surprisingly action packed and at times romantic ipakita that it was meant to be. The timing is poor and the voices don't match the characters they belong to. The english dub however, is one of the best I've seen as far as voice pagganap goes. You've got the main character nagasumi who never ceases to make me laugh out loud, and his father in law to be who is constantly yelling, not to mention all the other great characters sun, maki, kai, chimp, massa etc). Mix this is in with the rest of the cast and you've got a flawless pag-ibig comedy with perfect timing and many a laugh to be had.

Pokemon....after all these years of watching it in English on TV it just sounds weird in Japanese.

Stitch. I liked some of the new experiments they added in the anime. My two favorites of the new experiments is Cyber(000) and Dark End.

This was hard for me since I generally prefer subs and often can't stand dubs. Even if I do like a dub, I usually just watch the subs cause that's my thing... .-.

But anyways, there is 1 series that I watched in dub, and really enjoyed in dub madami than in sub.
Panty & Stocking.
I just felt the characters were madami hilarious, and since the ipakita was madami american-ish, the voices really fit the characters XD

Some other dubs I enjoyed ( but I like the subs equally)
-fruits basket ( i watched this dub twice while on vacation, i was reluctant to start it since i was in that phase where I was like "OMG ALL DUBS SUCK EW" but the madami I watched the dub, the madami I liked it. Then afterward i watched the sub to see how that compared, and that was pretty awesome as well :3)

Dragon Ball Z. The sub is way too high pitched on almost every character. It's not the kind of anime you would look to for the sub . . . .

The subbed voices were so awful it made my ears bleed. (Except for 2 characters)

But the dub?

Oh yah. It was so funny. I fell in pag-ibig with the accents. I loved it a lot madami than the subbed, so that's why I'm waiting for Beautiful world to be dubbed. I hope they dub it!

fairy tail because i pag-ibig grays English voice better than the Japanese so i per balahibo it in English
