Central Park Media was pretty good in the best in the 90s, but it could just be the nostalgia talking. Back then you didn't get to choose what language you watched it. Oddly enough, they owned Manga Corps, which was once of the worst. They couldn't even pronounce Manga or Corps correctly. Funimation's very hit & miss, just like ADV. Hetalia's dubbed is often considered "racist" while their work with the Slayers franchise was phenominal. (It's seriously best no never do accents unless you can hire legit voice actors from sinabi countries). ADV's voice cast for GetBackers & Gensoumaden Saiyuki was spectacular. I'd like to think that over time, the mosre money the dubb company makes, the better they can train their seiyuu. What's most important is accurate translations, no missing episodes, no missing scenes, no gender changes, no recoloring, no removing object, no Americanization, no name changing, no soundtrack replacement, etc. Basically, don't follow in the footsteps of 4Kids, DiC, & Nelvana & you're good. Personally, I watch subbs because I just think Japanese voices are sexier ^_~ Well, the Japanese language version isn't always better. If I had a buck for every voice in Hunter x Hunter 2011 that I thought was ill-fitting.....Kaito & Jin's were just the worst.
