itsastart I see this series as being very pivotal to the shows future. Period shows, especially legend/ fairy tale based are very popular right now. I think it is essential that the show be more mature and stay focused on growing the legends in new and unique ways. Shows that have long runs and viewer loyalty continue to stretch themselves and engage the audience emotionally. The building blocks have always been there for this show, but for longevity we need to have fresh ideas, not just the same old storyline ( clueless Arthur, have to hide my magic Merlin, Morgana and her evil smirks, etc.). What we have seen so far makes me think they are steering in a fresh direction this series, yet still capitalizing on what we love about the show: romance, humor, adventure, and good acting. I predict the viewership will grow, especially with what seems like awesome Arwen chemistry this year. Keep the attitude positive on all your social media sites. This show needs positive support and truthful reflection and the people who I have met here are just the kind of people to do the job. Keep up the good work everyone and we will get series 6. I have faith!

EPaws Me too. I just feel it that this is going to be epic. I loved the secrecy around this one very much so. They are departing from what the fanon expects so they kept it closed and they will win by doing just that one thing.

Is it possible Shine and the actors would continue with the stories, in some vain movie or otherwise, but just needed to get rid of the writers? Maybe Gaius will give up his life for exchange of Arthur's, I am pretty sure there are many ways they can do this, even bringing back all the knights including Eyan. EPaws No not at all but the next incarnation of the series in modern times is. The real issue will they get key people to bite. THAT is where my doubts lay.
