Throughout seasons one to four of Merlin, the burgeoning romance between Arthur and Guinevere (Angel Coulby) faced more than its fair share of ups and downs. At the end of last year, the couple finally married. This season, however, their union is threatened yet again by outside (and dark) forces. Sharing screen-time with costar Angel Coulby has been nothing but a pleasure for James.

“For me, one of the enjoyable things about having worked on the Arthur and Gwen relationship is more from an outside point of view,” says the actor. “Angel Coulby has a very infectious laugh, so if you have a scene with her, you’ll probably wind up finishing that scene with a smile on your face, which is always a nice thing.”

Sweet. Very sweet. I'm glad he's finding it easier to talk about his positive feelings about Arwen.

Of more significant importance is the following...well perhaps not more significant, but ever so telling:

Well Said Bradley...We All Were Wondering What Murphy Was Thinking Exactly...Made No Sense At All.

“I’m also looking forward to seeing the last two episodes. In terms of individual scenes, I’m not sure because I haven’t watched the entire season, but there was a scene I saw the other night that involved Merlin and Arthur creeping around a corridor at night, Sir Leon (Rupert Young) bumps into the two of them and asks what they’re doing. Merlin comes up with the excuse that they were reading poetry. What the hell you would be doing reading poetry at night, in the dark and with another guy is beyond me, “ says the actor with a chuckle, “but it was quite amusing.”

Illogical and totally ridiculous. We don’t blame you, just the idiot show runners. Talk about pathetic reaching…Yeah, good night all. Take from it what you will. If I need to explain, then there really is no point...take very good care. Sweet Dreams...drip drip drip...

"Despite her wicked ways, you cannot help but feel some sympathy for the character."

Um, no.

Agreed Kim. I feel we didn't get to see the depth of the motivations behind her actions and behaviour. I thinks it's the case of Karie lacking the range to show it truly.

Either way they don't condone her actions and that's why I consider her evil.
