What happened to Zuko's mother?

ATLA left us with the tanong of what happened to Zuko's mother, Zuko asked his father but we never saw what he answered. Anyway, I am extremely curious and I wonder if in Avatar: The legend of Korra they give an answer. I'm not a big tagahanga of the sequel, so I don't watch every episode and I can't say if they do mention his mother and what happened to her or not. Do you know? If not, what do you imagine?

Ursa (Zuko's mother) was banished when Zuko was a young boy. This was because Ozai's father was planning to kill Zuko. Ursa pleaded with Ozai. They both created a plan. Ursa would secretly kill Ozai's father, then Ozai would become Firelord. Ozai then banished her in order to keep Zuko alive.
