Azula on Top. (NO OFFENSE IF U LIKE ZUKO)

Okay, so one of the things i pag-ibig best about this ipakita was the way in which it had a subtle commentary on gender roles. I know, you may ask "so, what?" or "why is this important?" Well, I'll tell you.

Often, females are portrayed as supporting characters to the all-important male protagonist. Here, this is not the case. While i am indeed a guy, i like to see that screenwriters have progressive attitudes when it comes to gender roles. If you notice, Katara is the one who brings Aang along with her, not the other way around. Often, she plays the teacher and not the damsel in distress.

Toph is,...

I still remember my chilhood in Southen Water Tribe , i was staying there with my dad, because my mom was in the apoy natiom and she couldn't stay with me, she was the awatara and the apoy Lord. I remember how i felt in pag-ibig with a general. I was 20, i was helping my father training the waterbenders. Yes i am a waterbender, but now i just heal. A apoy Nation Ship was arriving, then i saw a general coming. I knew that to go to him was my buissines.
"Hi! Can i help you?" I sinabi to him.
"I am looking for the apoy Nation Princess Mia. Do you know where i can find her?" He sinabi to me. Well i was the...

Chapter six: Team avatar

It was 8 a.m. I was running around the house going berserk trying to make it perfect for the team avatar. Zach sat at the mesa texting this new kid named Micheal who he sinabi was related to Aang and Zuko. Now Zach calls me Micheal's grandpa. Technically I'm not but Aang was my incarnation and Aang was Micheal's grandfather. Still I manuntok Zach in the shoulder whenever he calls me grandpa.

"Sydney don't stress. Its just gonna be a bunch of old dudes." he said.

"AND ITS GONNA BE OUR GREAT SOMETHING GRANDFATHER!!"

"Granpa?" Jason asked walking downstairs from his slumber....

When people to talk to me about Anime, i never fail to mention my faverout shows- but whenever awatara the last airbender crops up, people instantly jump on the fact that its apperently not a 'real anime' and im sick of it! What rite do they have to sneer at me for my taste in anime?! Just because awatara is a low budjet creation, heavily influenced sa pamamagitan ng american culture and obviously made for kids TV, it doesnt make it any less of a good show, right? I mean really, a ipakita doesnt have to be full of spectacular art work and totally unique ideas to be enjoyable! I dont know about you guys, but presonaly i think that all the above mentioned makes it a genarelly madami easy-going and light hearted ipakita thats great to watch when your in need of a little no-brainer, fun TV!
Please tell me what YOU think!!!
