The season finale, what did you guys think? What did you think about Korra and Mako's little moment? and what did you think about Amon's "death"? Also do you think there will be another season? If so what would be in it?

Ugh.

Honestly, I thought they could've done much better.
Soooo much better.
So many characters were left under-developed and it just left and unsatisfied taste in its wake.
I wanted to see so much madami out of these characters.
I felt as if they rushed it waaay, waaaaaay, waaaaaay, too much.
They could've done this series madami justice.

Let me start with this...

I STRONGLY dislike the "makorra moment".
Not because of shipping or anything of the sort(I didn't mind the shipping aspect of it too much really??) but mostly because I felt bad for Asami!!!!!
She went through so much in the series, only to get betrayed sa pamamagitan ng Mako??? Ugh.
I hate how Mako just left his GIRLFRIEND, Asami, without a word, to herself to grieve to go to Korra!! Who really was fine!! Ooooh, she Nawawala her bending, cry me a river. She could still airbend and all that so just??? What's the problem???
I personally believe that was terrible!

I don't think anything he can do will make up for that.
Really! Like, he showed nothing but disinterest but Korra at first, crushed his brother's feelings with the kiss, cheated on a perfectly sweet girlfriend that funded his damn tournament... I just... wow!!!! I hate Mako. People say it's just because he's a ~CONFUSED TEENAGER~ - oh wow, so I guess that makes it OK to cheat and play with people's feelings...
But I wont go into that any further. (I am SO sorry for ranting but I'm just!!! upset)

Amon's death, like much everything else, was a bit unsatisfying.
But it was a good way to go, I suppose...

Well let me just sum up how I felt:
They could have done better.
Much, Much, MUCH better.
Almost all characters were left under-developed
let me not get started on Korra... I thought she did terribly as the avatar... what made me especially mad is that she could unlock her airbending to save Mako, a guy who treated her terribly, and NOT to save Tenzin and the family.
Wow ok Korra.
Really.
Seriously.
I pag-ibig Korra but wow, that was terrible.

I believe they are making another season(I heard it a few times around.. :I), I have no idea where they're going to/would take it, really...

hmmm....well i liked it ^_^ it was really good. about Korra and Makos moment.....ehhh it was cute....Amon probably didnt die though....im thinking that Tarlock did thought. Yes their will b another season...it sould b just like the original "Avitar the Last Air-Bender" their will b 4 books and this season was book 1 "Air" so their should b 3 more. but idk on what will b in it. the first episode might involve ipinapakita Amon and who knows....he might ACTUALLY have a scar on his face now after the explosion....

but... i did not pag-ibig the makorra moment in the season final
and i think the solution came so fast and so easily that is the parts i did not pag-ibig

Mixed feelings.

What they had going with a few things were brilliant, especially Tarrlok and Noatak. However, the pacing was horrible. It felt like the episodes were being played fast-forward. If they added madami and allowed us to sink into what was going on, they would've had a really great finale.

The character focus wasn't to my liking- Mako and Korra were the mains in this one, while I would've much rather seen Iroh, Asami, Bolin, and the others fighting. Mako certainly didn't redeem himself in my eyes for being an ass, either. We didn't get enough explanation- where did Lin go after Amon took her bending, and how did she end up back in the end? Why exactly did Noatak become Amon and how did he live life in Republic City? What exactly was Tarrlok feeling when Amon revealed himself as his brother? Where the hell was Iroh half of the time? The scenes with him were brilliant, but brief. ...A lot of characters felt dropped and left out.

Noatak and Tarrlok's death was both unsatisfying, and moarnful. I do believe they died, though- Tarrlok especially since he was the one with the glove, and the one who ignited the thing. I don't think Noatak would've had time to react, and even if he did, he wouldn't leave Tarrlok to die while he escaped. What was unsatisfying is that I wanted to see madami of them first, I wanted to know more, I wanted to see them interact more. I wanted to see what motivated them into choosing their paths, rather than brief statements about it.

As for Makorra, I could care less. Okay, rephrase, I would care less if so many people weren't being hurt or were hurt because of it. Asami was getting constant slaps in the face, even after she Nawawala pretty much everything else. Mako's way of "breaking up" with her (or sort of just implied that they're not together anymore) was heartless. She helped him several times, and he gave nothing back. I can't see anything to like about Makorra anymore, this just settled it.

I especially didn't like the ending- it was too easily resolved. All of this drama in the season about people losing their bending, and it's fixed with a snap. I wanted their loss of bending to leave a mark, make the character stronger and madami interesting, let them suffer but adapt. ..It felt like a cop-out.

In my opinion, the season finale was, in a word, AWESOME!!!!!!

Since i am a HUGE makorra shipper i loved their little moment,but my paborito part was when they admitted they loved each other(which i kinda figured they would)

i was wondering the same thing about season 2.since amon and tarrlok a supposedly "dead". who is going 2 b da bad guy in season 2?will someone turn evil, or are noatak and tarrlok still alive? i guess well just have 2 wait and see.

i have a feeling nickelodeon will make season 2 really good because they made soooo much money off of awatara and the legend of korra season 1.

i no that some ppl feel that this cartoon was terrible and nick cudve done better,but there's an old saying ''Shit sells." which is especially true in this araw in time.these popular channels are making some of the crappiest shows ESPECIALLY disney and nickelodeon.

Yes there is another season becuz it was called the SEASON finale. Meaning it is another season. It should be coming around Spring 2013

I really don't care much for Makorra; in fact, I totally didn't give a hoot about their kiss. It kind of ruined it for me. After one season, they kiss? Couldn't they at least wait to give their "love" certainty? I mean, we're in 12 episodes-and they really think they pag-ibig each other!? Sorry, but even if it was sometime in season 2, I wouldn't care. But it was too forced with this. I didn't feel anything for the kiss, and again, I don't get Makorra. Their "relationship" just did not have strength that I thought they would give to these two because I knew they'd be together (like Kataang-very obvious, but again, I didn't see the big deal of it).

As for Amon and Tarlokk, I wish we got to see madami of them. We just learned about this new side, and I would have liked to see the two brothers again, reconnecting, all the while we can see a whole new side of the two people we all hated at one point. The death surprised me and did make me cry. I like that they didn't involve the awatara in the big antagonist's death; a little different, though the fact his brother ended his life, along with Noatak's, made me feel really bad. For one episode, I'd like to see nothing but what happened with Noatak and Tarlokk in the past! XD

Amon-him actually being a bender was a dis-appointment and a bit stupid I didn't feel the episode was rushed but the reveal to who Amon was, was rushed. his blood bending was great but I wish they would of touched on how he can take bending away with blood bending. Also I felt he creators made this change to him being a bender last minute. like all season he had people convinced that he was a spirit or could energy bend than then it's like they dis-regarded there own story board to add a uneeded twist-


Makorra- Honestly fans of Asami stop fucking bitching about it. you knew it was bound to happen we all knew it was going to happen. however the break up between Asami and Mako could of been so much madami dramatic and madami emotional than just "peace imma go with korra have fun." another rushed moment in my opinion. As for Asami I hope she becomes evil or something it would redeem the shitty break up we got if she became all bad asno and Anti-hero




Korra- yes ladies and gentleman Korra herself annoyed me in this episode as to wear in all the other episodes except one I can't rember witch she was rash bravo and really out there in this episode madami speficailly when fighting Amon she seemed to be a coward and a disappointment. when her bending was taken away and she could all of A sudden Air bend HOW THE FUCK DOES THAT WORK CONTUNITY IS BULLSHIT. Now that being sinabi the best part of that scene is seeing awatara Aang come in and give korra some life payo and all they avatars ipakita up behind aang. down side of that seen the instant mastery of awatara state and the instant mastery of energy bending.


over all verdict: the fight scenes were cool the plot was great in my opinion as for Amon being unmasked that was rushed. Korra's Mastery of everything also rushed it leaves season 2 for no real plot. as for Mako can't say I hate him but his break up should of been madami than a sentence to Asami. but i'll keep watching to the very end

Meh. Based upon awatara I've seen much better finales. This one had it's intense moments (like the air plane scene, Tarrlock's flash back, and the mechatank (sp?) fight) but I feel it was a bit rushed and mainly focused on Mako and Korra.

I believe it was rushed because Korra loses her bending and gets it back all in one episode. Mike and Bryan usually let problems like that carry on into the susunod season. On tuktok of that Korra restores others' bending too; it's a bit much to give her that much power in such a short time. And the awatara state and contacting Aang as well... all of this happened in like the last 5, 10 minutes.

As for Mako and Korra; seriously the finale was all about them and maybe Iroh II. Bolin and Asami were kind of forgotten. Asami got maybe 3 or 4 lines and Bo even less. We get a few minutos of Bo and Asami fighting and that's it for them. After that it's just Mako and Korra fighting, chatting, or sucking face with a little Tarrlock and Amon mixed in there.

And then there was the Makorra thing, I hated it. Not because I hate the ship, but it was painful to watch because as they sucked face and became all lovey dovey Asami was suffering. Mako tossed her a side after everything she went through for him; she Nawawala her wealth, home, and most importantly the last of her family. On tuktok of that she loses her boyfriend to her friend.

Which leads to problem 4; I was dis-satisfied with the ending for Asami. Everything was unsolved for her. I wanted at least one good thing to happen to her, but what I got was the opposite. Not only does she officially lose her man but her dad tries to kill her (with a 'you can't be saved' remark) and aside from Bolin's 'Hiroshi you are a terrible father' she got no comfort what so ever. Her ending sucked and I felt bad.

Honestly? I was a bit disappointed. I felt like it was so rushed and forced. Amon is my paborito character behind Korra, so I was disappointed sa pamamagitan ng his background and ending. It felt a little cliche to me (verbal abuse, his dad was all AVENGE MEEE) and I think Amon should have been kept a non-bender, because now he's just another hypocrite villian who used lies to gain power. He didn't care about non-benders whatsoever. Plus, when everyone finds out he's a bender, he's like "oh crap, they found out I'm a bender. Oh, well, come on brother, we'll try again tomorrow" and just leaves. I'm like "NO. NO. COME BACK HERE AND FINISHED WHAT YOU STARTED."

Plus, the Makorra was just sickening. I felt so bad for poor Asami! Her dad turned against her, her mother died, she had to choose between family and her beliefs, her boyfriend cheated and didn't tell her and she had to find out from his BROTHER, Mako doesn't even officially break up with her, she gets arrested, etc. The poor thing can't catch a break. I'm madami of a Masami and Borra fan, anyway.

After Korra finds out how to restore bending, I felt like it wouldn't matter if this whole thing ever happened. No one had to suffer from it- all the benders got their bending back.

Overall, yeah, it was good I suppose. It had some disappointments, but it was good and I'll watch the susunod season.

with amon no he is still alive tarrlok died yes but amon is to awsome to die he had really thick armor to so the explosion was nothing compared to the armor how could anybody kill this.and mako is such a asno for leaveing asami like that and poor bolin his brother freaking makeing out with korra like that and after korra just began dateing bolin too. first the entire season could have been a lot longer if they wanted tomake it longer witch it should have been

The pangkalahatang episode was pretty good, but they could have done a better job with the ending. I mean, the halik was fine, but come on it's just another rip off from every worst movie. "Boy meets girl, boy and girl like each other but don't know how to say it (I'm saying this sarcastically sa pamamagitan ng the way) boy and girl go on and adventure! boy and girl fall in love." It's a crappy romance with an awatara twist and an unoriginal plot. And I just about gagged when Mako told Korra he "loved" her. They're just going to break up in book 2, realize they've made a mistake (which they haven't) and get back together. I mean I pag-ibig the two of them together I do, but c'mon really?? ATLA was pretty predictable itself, but they were innocent kids, it gives you a heartwarming "COme Oon alreaDy, CONFESS YOUR LOVE!" kind of feeling and it's not like I didn't get that with Makorra, I did. but not as much as I did with Aang and Katara.
