I think that abortion should not be legal. People don't realize it but it's a real baby that has a beating heart, it alive! Killing a child is a crime and it's no different if the baby isn't born yet. Women's rights are inmportant but women should not have the right to kill their own baby. Besides, that's why we have adopotion.

BTW, it's NOT CLEAR if an unborn baby at a stage where it's still legal to abort is actually a living being. Also, what if you got raped and became pregnant? How awful must it be to constantly be reminded of what happened to you?! I don't generally support abortion though (e.g. when you were just careless and had consensual sex and became pregnant, then you shouldn't be allowed to have an abortion in my opinion).

Do I really want to be a teen mom? I wouldn't do abortion, but I put the baby up for adoption... I'm not even that good with children...

@SMACkeHuddy it doesn't matter what happens to me, the baby is a gift from our lord Jesus, he has his reasons for these things happening. Also, I am not that careless so I wouldn't randomly get pregnant because I have not interest in that kind of thing. I will not use my sexual powers outside of marriage. Anyway, no matter what happens to me I would not give up my child for anything! Well, maybe I would put him/her up for adoption but never abortion! I respect your opinion but I just wanted you to know more about me so you'll see why I don't tolerate abortion.

...and I respect your opinion, but MY "God" cannot be related to any religion. I see God as a very difficult concept (my God to me is something of a mix between science and nature). I don't think anyone should speak of "our Lord Jesus", because he's simply not everyone's Lord. Not everyone is Christian or believes in a God at all. But let's leave that as a sidenote.

I think women who abort their babies also have reasons to do it. I can't imagine that to have an abortion or not is an easy decision to make. I also think that I wouldn't give up my baby (except if I as raped), but I absolutely understand why people have abortions.

As I already said, in my humble opinion in certain situations abortions should be forbidden or at least be subject to stricter regulations (e.g. when a woman has enough money to support a baby and got pregnant through consensual sex) because in that case a baby is treated like an object that is easy to get rid of if it's inconvenient. So I think a person should have thought through an abortion very carefully and have good reasons to have it.

There is also that situation where continuing a pregnancy would kill the mother. Or the doctor would find out that the baby would definitely die in the course of the pregnancy and be stillborn (which is a very painful thought ): ).
I'm curious; what would you do in these situations?

I understand. It's alright, I'm just speaking my mind. Also, if the pregnancy would be fatal to me I would not kill the child because we need more young people to replace those who can't work due to a medical condition of those who are retired. That I think is something that even people who don't believe in God should think about. There should be more life than death in this world so that is another reason I wouldn't choose abortion. Also, if the baby were to die I would want it to have a more peacful death rather than have it be killed. Thanks for asking because I like to think deeply into things. Also, once again I completely understand if you don't really agree it's ok.

Actually, it's also not really good anymore if there are more births than deaths - at least not for our planet (overpopulation). Also, think about the following: many people on our planet are unemployed - if people have more kids and less people die (which is happening), then there will be more and more unemployed people in the future. But all that is really not a problem that can/could/should be solved by abortion.

I do appreciate your second thought about the baby having a peaceful death, but I don't know what would be more peaceful - suffering for a few days and then dying or never suffering and being killed (I really don't know).

I also understand your point of view and can certainly appreciate it, but I don't concur. Thanks for discussing; it's nice to see people like you who apparently really like to talk/think about these things without excluding other opinions :)

Absolutely not. Never. I believe that every child is a gift from God. I am still 13, but even if I did become pregnant, I would NOT kill my child. I would probably choose adoption.

I believe in love, and they are innocent. If I gave up my own child I would regret it. I want what is best-for THEM, and that means LOVE, LOVE, LOt's of smushy, kissy love and good care ^~^
