i am convince buffy would never go back to angel

she wasnt really in love with spike till the end of s7, angel would have helped spike deal with his soul so it would either have been angel or neither if angel had came back!!!

It wouldn't have been Angel, and I'm not saying this because I'm a Spuffy fan. Angel was in love with Cordelia, the same problems would still have been there that they had broken up from, and Buffy was no longer a teenage girl. If Buffy went back to Angel it would regress her character to much, and the whole theme of the show is growing up.

Also, I'm pretty sure Buffy was already in love with Spike, she just didn't want to admit it. I don't think she could have forgiven him some of the things he did if she wasn't in love with him.

Can you add a neither choice? I think it would have ended the same, with her on her own.

I don't think it would have been Angel, and I'm a Bangel saying that. I don't think Angel was in love with Cordelia, but Buffy's cookie dough speech still holds true, and if he came back they wouldn't want to get together. Nothing as changed-- they still can't really be fully "together", if you know what I mean. It would have been like Season 3 when he came back from the dead.

Her relationship with Spike would play out the same way, even with Angel there. I think the way things happened is the way that was true to everyone's feelings, and in the end I don't think it would matter if Angel was there or not. She knows how she feels about Angel without needing to see him.

For all of the fans of Bangel & Spuffy. It is equal Buffy would chose both and she has feelings for them both. Angel was there to help Buffy. Also I could imagine the pain and arguements between Spike and Angel fighting over Buffy. Its kinda like watching Angel all over again instead its Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I mean yeah Cordelia was the one in Angel's heart. Buffy would understand that Angel has move on but she stil has feelings for him. Unlike Spike "Hello the Pain",Buffy feels terrified and scared of him. Cuz all the pain they both cause for each other. The way they treated each other.

Overall, both Spike & Angel has feelings for Buffy. Buffy would love Angel and she would always love Spike.

im with jillywinkles coz in season season buffy and spike weren't technically together but as a spuffy i agree with nika on buffy already being in love with spike coz seriously allthe things she forgave him for it had to be love

Angel was always buffy one true love, I think she would always go back to him in the end.

As a Spuffy I feel that I am betraying the tribe but I'll explain my reason - swear to Joss/Debs.

Angel: Completely agree with Captain Nika, Buffy's character was developed beyond this relationship and at that stage their relationship would have diminished the Cangel story line and all of the subsequent episodes following Graduation. They have changed and while they will always love each other, and always hold onto that idea that they might, one day, perhaps be together, they can't be. Buffy is both Angel's salvation and his damnation in one package and Angel is the representation of her calling in a fairytale sort of way that can never be - and she knows it.

Spike: I must be very verbal on this (or the typing form of verbal, it's a very verbal nonverbal), in season seven I think their relationship would have played out basically the same. With Angel there, a strain might have developed and Buffy would have, I believe, been pushed to defend him, but I do not think they would be together in season seven. Now, if we are talking a real (cast, UPN, Joss, etc - not comics or novels) season then I do believe there would have been a getting back togetherness before it was pulled out of their reach in classically heartwrenching Joss fashion. Season seven for Spuffy is what the beginning of the series was for Bangel, a period of learning about one another and building something - a friendship that supports a loving relationship.

Both - First, Yum, Second, this is where fanfiction comes in handy. I think it's a great concept and while I can see Joss sort of going for it, or hinting around it (as he did in Chosen), but I don't think it would really fully happen. By fully I mean a sort of , um, everyone involved. I think Spike would be torn up but happy to get scraps so he might go along with it but our characters are believers in love and they are possessive, it makes for great fanfiction and theories but lacks the ability to make it as a full concept for the show to branch out off of.

Neither: The reason I decided upon neither was because it fits my thoughts but once we get back the claspage of some hands I have very strong verbal feelings.

I can see Joss and CO writing them together...only to split up again. They don't like happy endings for couples.

Angel is the only man that Buffy would ever love because I think that he is the only one she would ever have deep feelings for.
