When can I stop being self-conscious about my black hair?

Ok--everyone would not prefer blue eyes and blonde hair! But I know it feels that way sometimes. I don't know your ethnic background, but I come from a long line of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern/Asian stock, and there aren't too many blondes among us, and we're a pretty attractive lot!

Become familiar with the non-blonde celebs out there. I know that sounds superficial, but they're the ones whose faces are everywhere. Latina magazine, Essence, Ebony--these are also good places that reflect the wide world of dark hair/dark eye/dark complexion beauty.

It's not easy to change your viewpoint over night, but start embracing what is special about you. For example, I bet your black hair has a glossiness that no blonde can attain.

And I too hate the stereotype that mean people have dark hair. We know it's not true.

You can stop thinking about your black hair right now! Don't compare yourself to anyone else - you are unique, as we all are. Focus on what you are on the inside - believe me, THAT is what's most important!

Um NOW! You have black hair? You are so lucky! Give it to me!

I am a blue eyed blonde, I wish I had black hair! Black hair is glossy and awesome, I am always a tagahanga of black haired characters in pelikula and I never like the blonde characters. Sometimes I hate how I look!
