Bewitched was not dark and evil: When the studio saw the Bewitched script,although they liked the premise and thought it would take off,they insisted Sol Saks (the writer) make somes changes. Apparently Samantha was said to be too sinister and they didn't think the occult side of it would go down well with tv audiences. In the South especially, there was some negative reviews even when the series did premiere. Although, we are talking about 45 years ago, I still see nothing sinister about the series. If anything, I wish they had written more "witch-like" episodes. I love the eps where Samantha dons her flying suit and really gets into the hocus pocus and her flying (Superman style) as was shown in a couple of episodes os awesome! posted sa loob ng isang taon na ang nakalipas.
