Do you think Ichigo is madami suited for (1) Orihime (2) Rukia?

Rukia is, without a doubt, the chosen one.

They are pure chemistry, they share deep thoughts towards the other, they can understand each other without words, they trust one another blindly, they even changed the other's world...

You think Orihime can make Ichigo happy or that she made the great deal sa pamamagitan ng "bringing him back to life"? Let me get this clear for you. When she baby-cried dead Ichigo (besides ipinapakita her lack of determination and courage) she messed it up for him. It clearly shows how selfish and careless she is, specially with "the person she loves the most" as most of you say. She turned Ichigo into a monster, something he really disliked and made him hate himself for having hurt Uryu and dishonoured Ulquiorra (he was in shock when he returned and saw what "he" had done). Instead of being useful, Orihime only disturbed Ichigo. This I've sinabi is not made with the purpose of bashing Orihime, but to ipakita who is the rain in this story. Also remember that Tensa Zangetsu told Ichigo in his inner world (when he was training to get Final Getsuga Tenshou and beat Aizen) that even though the rain had stopped pouring (Ichigo himself sinabi that it was because of Rukia!!♥), now his world was flooded because he left his inner hollow go out (that because of Orihime).
So if Orihime=rain, and rain brings Ichigo down (it's not good for him)...there's something that doesn't suit in this story...mmm...So do you still think that is a strong IH point?

As of Rukia, Ichigo himself have sinabi that she changed his world, that she made the rain stop for him and he asked himself if he could keep with the speed of the world without her...all those thoughts are clear proof that he needs her, he may not be obvious neither romantic, but when she's not there he really misses her. Kubo has highlighted that point, he has shown the change in Ichigo's mood before and after Rukia's return, he makes Ichigo puts epic dummy faces when he sees her (not I say, but Ikkaku...see it?). If it weren't important, then there was no need to put that dialogue between Ichigo and Keigo in Fullbring, that's what we Ichiruki fans call unnecessary unless it's ichiruki...see that's a way to highlight this development.

Rukia always cheers Ichigo up. She is the only one able to make the sun shine after the most devious storm.

My answer is neither.

First off, there's no reason for us to be asking this question. We know how Kubo regards relationships in Bleach (i.e. he cares not at all for them) so it doesn't matter which is "more suited for" Ichigo.

Second, I don't think we have any say in the matter if one was anyway. Who are we to judge who a person is "more suited" to be in pag-ibig with?

Third, how would we even judge this? This is a universe where giant, invisible humanoid creatures fight regular-sized invisible shinigami. I think the standards for who loves whom went out the window along with any semblance of reality.

Fourth, even if we are to judge, why should we be restricted to a dichotomy? Ichigo doesn't have just two choices, these aren't the only women in the series. If we're going to have an argument about who he should be with (something I believe to be pointless that just leads to pointless bickering), then why not get all parties involved? Why leave the arguments to the two groups (IchiRuki and IchiHime) who are so set in their beliefs that they can hardly agree on anything?

Fifth, how effective is this conversation is producing anything reasonable in the first place? Looking at the sagot its received, this tanong has just become yet another soapbox for people to stand on, proclaiming that they know what's right and that everyone who disagrees with them is wrong. That sort of conversation is pointless. If everyone's here just to hear themselves talk about how much better they know a character from an anime and manga than everyone else, then there is no argument. Everyone's right, so no one is.

Okay, okay, I'll answer. I'm not going to try and provide any sorts of "canon" excuses, because what's canon isn't really of great importance to me. These are just my nakakita on the subject.

I don't seriously ship either pairing. In fact, I don't ship either at all. But I have developed nakakita on them.

In my opinion, Rukia and Ichigo's relationship is very...complex. I don't view them as just close friends, but I can't view them in any sort of romance dynamic either. In my opinion, Rukia has a pag-ibig for Ichigo. And Ichigo has a pag-ibig for Rukia. But the two "love"s are completely separate. They don't "love each other", in terms of mutually expressing endearment to one another. It's madami of a kind of sense of respect and deep friendship. pag-ibig doesn't just have to describe romantic and swoony feelings. People pag-ibig their mga kaibigan and pag-ibig their families, and the feelings are all very different, but they're still love. So there's nothing stopping me from saying that Ichigo could pag-ibig Rukia and vice versa. But that doesn't mean I would be overjoyed if they suddenly became boyfwiend and girlfwiend. I think their relationship is completely different than that, and suddenly being in that kind of a situation would change their dynamic entirely. And not necessarily for the good. As far as pag-ibig goes, I think they're pretty well off right now, without needing a label like "lovers". Their relationship is almost deeper because of this.

As for Ichigo and Orhime, well, I haven't ibingiay as much thought to that. I actually do ship Ulquihime, regardless of canon or not, because I believe that after long enough Ulquiorra could bring out a madami mature and serious side to Orihime, and she could bring out some feelings in him. Because of this, I'm probably not going to suddenly fall in pag-ibig with Ichihime. But I'm not going to try and tell you that it's real because Ulqui wrote a poem and then they reached for each other's hands.

We all know that Orihime loves Ichigo. So at the very least it's a one sided relationship. As far as Ichigo, it seems he has little knowledge of her feeling for him, and if anything his gentleness towards her is because she's so delicate around him. If she and Rukia suddenly swapped personalities, I'm not sure if he would treat Rukia the same way as he treats Orihime, but he would without a doubt in my mind treat Orihime the same as he outwardly treats Rukia. Sarcastic and teasing. As for which of them he's closer to, I'd probably say Rukia, just based on normal human emotions. He's only really started talking to Orihime after Rukia showed up, but during their knowing each other he went through a lot madami with Rukia than he did with Orihime. It would only be natural for him to feel closer to her.

So all in all, and this is getting pretty long so I should probably balutin it up, I'd say he's closer to Rukia, but I wouldn't call them "in love", and I can't see Ichigo entering a romantic relationship with either of them any time soon.

Orihime's pag-ibig for Ichigo is one-sided, while what Ichigo and Rukia have is closer to puppy-love than friendship. Besides Ichigo and Rukia are both Soul Reapers; if Tite wanted someone to even remotely think about having Ichigo and Orihime together, he'd have made Orihime the Soul Reaper who gave Ichigo his powers and been the one to fight with him instead of "on the side lines".
(NOTE: I sinabi "on the side lines" in mga panipi because although she's part of the calvary, she doesn't participate much in the actual fights)

Both? Orihime loves Ichigo (and Tite showed it sa pamamagitan ng drawing her almost halik him) and I dont see Rukia loving Ichigo like Orihime, but only as a pag-ibig of friendship. Rukia dosent know that Orihime loves Ichigo but she'll figure it out because as the story processes, they grew a tight friendship. And Rukia dosent wanna hurt Orihime but I see, acually, Rukia helping Orihime with the realtionship between Ichigo and her because thats, what I think, Rukias personality is (as a person ,soul reaper, and a friend).
As for Renji and Rukia, since there childhood mga kaibigan I can see it happen but at the same time I dont see any loving relation other then friendship. Still it dosent mean to give up hope.

I feel so much very pity for Ichiruki's fan. They clearly saw the chemistry between Ichigo and Orihime are deeper in the matter like 'love' than Ichigo and Rukia. Oh how they fight hard to deny it. And I read some comments sinabi Ichigo started talking to Orihime after he talked to Rukia? Well, you might missed the part when Ichigo told Rukia that Orihime's brother, Sora died in their clinic when she was 14... LOL...

For me, as I watched the series from A to Z, and the only scene that came close to a pag-ibig scene is when Orihime wanted to halik Ichigo when he was out injured, before she left to unwillingly sumali the Arrancar.

And you can see the part where Ichigo encountered Ulquiorra at Hueco Mundo. When Ulquiorra tells Ichigo that Rukia will die. Ichigo wanted to save her but halted when Ulquiorra sinabi that he was the one who forced Orihime to sumali the Arrancar. Ichigo quickly, without delay, dashed towards him to beat the crap out of him. At that moment, he didn't care about rescuing Rukia, but wanted to beat Ulquiorra for forcing Orihime to sumali the Arrancar.

Karin, Ichigo's sister, also stated to Yuzu and Ishiin that she won't be surprised if her brother brought a girl tahanan with him unless she is 'Orihime-leved', when Rukia followed Ichigo to his room.

It is 100% shown that Sado, Ishida, Rukia, Renji, Tatsuki, Urahara and his house gang, and maybe madami knows Orihime has feelings for Ichigo. So many things will be shattered between their friendship if Rukia ended up with Ichigo. And you guys probably know that Orihime will 1000% step back from Ichigo if Ichigo and Rukia ended up together. Orihime is alone in her life and she needed someone strong and she cared deeply like Ichigo. She's a kind-hearted girl and she deserves to get the best. Only weak hearted people like you guys will say that she's a burden to Ichigo and everyone.

Ahh.. I don't wanna type too long though. But the best thing is, The voicer of Ichigo Kurosaki, both in English and Japan, Johny Yong Bosh and Morita Masakazu, want and like Ichigo to be with Orihime. And in Bleach latest movie, Hell Verse, slight hint for Ichihime, where Orihime hugged Ichigo at his back. He was pretty shocked but relaxed later. Besides, Renji loved Rukia for a long time. And so did Orihime loved Ichigo for two years or madami already.

Yes number 2 is correct, Rukia is the one he trusts more. Rukia might not seem interested in him but she does care. Orihime clearly likes Ichigo but Ishida seems to be somewhat interested in Orihime too, Ichigo and Orihime are good mga kaibigan and so is Rukia. Ichigo doesn't think of Rukia as a friend, but madami like as a partner. Those two are always together. Ichigo cares deeply for all his mga kaibigan yet it seems like he cares for Rukia slightly more. So yes I ship them.

Orihime. Ichigo is just so caring torwards her and pangkalahatang tender with her emotions. It was like this since the start, I mean really him always wanting to protect her. Rukia for sure!! I don't really like Ichigo with Orihime, I don't have anything against Orihime, but I just don't like her with Ichigo. But I do like the way Ichigo and Rukia communicate with each other, plus they're hilarious! And being a girl myself, I like that Rukia is different from most other girls, she isn't a girly-girl and she isn't ditsy or an airhead, but she's tough and can stand on her own. I know that Orihime tries a lot and I know she isn't stupid or anything, she is just so unsure of herself, if she was madami confident in who she was, I think I would like her a bit more.

The only one I can see with Ichigo is Rukia, because I personally like the idea of Uryu and Orihime as a pairing. As you can see, Uryu definitely has some feelings for her. Though, I also like Renji and Rukia, so all I can say is, I would Rukia with Ichigo, or NOBODY with Ichigo. I just couldn't see him Orihime, in fact, I could even see Tatsuki and him making a better pairing than that, but that's not saying I like that pairing or anything. Anyway IchigoXRukia, RenjiXRukia, UryuXOrihime, KisukeXYoroichi, HinamoriXHitsugaya, IzuruXHinamori, and GinXRangiku are the only ones on Bleach that I care to ship. But this is only my opinion. Well. Actually, I don't want any romance in Bleach. But, I'd have to say Rukia. I'm not saying that there should be any pag-ibig between them (Ichigo Rukia), but I have to say that he is madami CLOSER to her.
1. Ichigo treats Orihime like a little sister -he treats his little sisters and Orihime the same. But, he treats Rukia madami like a friend (Renji. Uryu. etc.).
2. A person below nagkomento that it took Ichigo madami than a week to save Rukia, whereas it took just a few days to save Orihime- I think that's because, when we went to save Rukia, it was almost right after he became a shinigami. When he went to save Orihime, he mastered his hollow form (etc.) It's just the difference of his power.
3.Like many people sinabi before me, in the beginning of Bleach, Orihime kind of jealous of Rukia,. That means that there is something between Rukia and Ichigo that Ichigo does not have with Orihime. Now, I'm not saying that it's a romantic thing. I'm saying, that they are madami closer to each other.
4. When he went to save Rukia, he told someone (I don't remember) to protect Rukia with their life. But, when he went to save Orihime he told somebody (I don't remember) to protect her with their body.
5.In the Bleach Animation book and character book (It's probably those book lol) It says, 'The Rain Drags black Sun Down, but rain dried sa pamamagitan ng white moon.' Doesn't that mean that Rukia and Ichigo are close?
6.In one of the movies. Ichigo sensed that Rukia was in danger. And, when he goes to save her, and find her. There's this kind of red scarf/string that leads him to her. Now, In Asia (maybe in other countries too, I'm not sure) there's this myth called, The red string of Fate. Well, after I watched that movie, I started to think that Ichigo was closer or fated, to be with Rukia.
(To the ichihime fans: I'm not saying there's romance between Rukia and Ichigo and stuff. I'm just saying that Ichigo is madami closer or suited for Rukia. I really don't want to offend you. I'm sorry if I made you guys mad or annoyed)

Rukia. Whatever feelings Ichigo has for EITHER of these girls, his feelings for Rukia are undoubtedly much madami deeper. IchiRuki has a complex bond, and really, bonds are what make me appreciate a pairing in the first place.

I don't believe Ichigo and Orihime's bond, is a great as his and Rukia's. Ichigo and Rukia change each other - and I believe pag-ibig changes you. They're themselves around each other, and I think they're one of the few people that can deal with each other, while at the same time understanding each other.

And then there's this show. Bleach. It started with IchiRuki and their relationship. So it'll end with IchiRuki as well. They're the main hero and heroine, and on tuktok of that, they totally rock their roles.

And one madami thing: There will be no pairings in this ipakita anyways. Kubo sinabi himself that he's not interested in romance happening. So even if IchiHime doesn't happen, Ichigo and Rukia's unbreakable bond will ALWAYS be there. And I think that's the ONE thing that makes IchiRuki special, apart from IchiHime.

I believe it is Orihime. I mean the pag-ibig is there. And I can also see this similar to Naruto and Hinata. Remember, up to the point Hinata confesses, Hinata's pag-ibig was one sided. But once she confessed, it all began falling into place. Whose to say it won't happen with Ichigo and Orihime? I mean look at it this way, ever since the Soul Society arc, Rukia hardly been in the World of the Living spending time with Ichigo. In fact, each time she comes, she comes with Renji meaning there is something between them in some way. Orihime is there for Ichigo. Yes, people will say she can't go to the SS like Rukia can. If Orihime had the choice, she would stay sa pamamagitan ng Ichigo's side regardless. And like someone said, all Orihime have to do is confess when Ichigo is awake. I have nothing against IchiRuki, its just I see IchiHime more. In Ichigo's fight against Grimmjow, the segundo Orihime spoke up (after Nel told her why Ichigo is doing what he is doing) the fight tipped into Ichigo's favor. And when Ichigo heard her voice, he went full hollow and utterly destroyed Ulquiorra. And the fact that Orihime can find Ichigo no matter where he may be is also amazing. Ichigo went against the Head Captains orders also to just go save Orihime. heck, he even notice the small trace of Spiritual Energy left sa pamamagitan ng Orihime that probably would've went unnoticed sa pamamagitan ng others.

Hahaha, Ichiruki? Are you kidding me? That pairing is a lose lose, whether any of you like it or not. For starters, Rukia rhymes with (Puke)ia. Yes, that was meaningless, but now I will get into the legit psychology of it. I mean look around, all you Ichiruki fans give is a load of crap that is 100 percent opinion-based. The most popular isn't always the best choice. It's like drugs these days. A TON of people use drugs, but popularity is futile. Kubo isn't stupid......(not to be racist er anything, but he is also Asian and wise). Okay so moving on... First piece of proof. When Ichigo carries Orihime...er just picks her up, he doesn't pick her up from under the armpits which literally all mga kaibigan do to pick their friend up, but Ichigo actually grabs her sa pamamagitan ng her waist, meaning he has somewhat of a strong feeling towards her. susunod thing is the holding hands debate. "Ichigo and Rukia hold hands. It is so cute" says Ichiruki fans. "Ichigo holds Orihimes hand.....Its so adorable" says Ichihime fans. What these guys DON'T know is that there is a PSYCHOLOGY behind holding hands (OH SHOCKER). Let's start with the ice rink scene. Ichigo holds her hand, yes, but his grasp is so light and the kind of grasp he is doing is called 'holding few fingers' (what a creative name, right?). Holding few fingers can only mean one thing: wanting independence. His actions are so .....boring towards her. And in the same scene, he smiles, but when he does, he closes his eyes. In anime, guys don't close their eyes when they smile unless their characteristics are somewhat like... Keigo or Mizuru...or even Gins. Lol. Usually guys with barely any emotion--like Ichigo--tend to give a heartwarming smile, but they aren't supposed to close their eyes. Why? Because anime artists say so...or imply in through their art. I have proven that the smile Ichigo gives is completely false. Now to da susunod scene, Ichigo holds Orihime's hand, but when he does, he holds her hand tightly and holds her WHOLE hand, stimulating a STRONG relationship towards Orihime. Ichigo's eyes are very well dilated and his tsokolate eyes gaze deeply into her own. His smile is just a warm grin. It's a real smile. susunod part is the part when Ichigo carries Orihime on his shoulder. Sure, it's cute how he holds her, but ther is a whole foreshadowing behind it. Ichigo looks like a groom in a tux carrying his bride. The way he carries her is a stereotypical way to hold a bride after a wedding. White and black? Oh PUHLEASE! That is just so obvious. Then there is the scene where Ichigo IN HIS HOLLOW FORM, meaning he HAS NO HEART, SOMEHOW manages to have enough puso to remember that he came to save Orihime. In his hollow form, his intended...intentions was to only focus on his enemy. So why does he still remember Orihime and doesn't remember Ishida Uryu and so he shanks him matunog na halik in the stomach. That is just common sense.

Rukia is simply amazing with Ichigo. They share Love, pain, care, and understanding with eachother. I think if they end up together it would be a lot interesting instead of Orihime cause she just doesn't feel too close to him like Rukia.

I think Ruika would be madami suited for Ichigo because they both help and understand each other than anyone else. Sure Orihime is a sweet, nice girl but need to understand madami about Ichigo than how he feels. While Ruika understand how he feels and why he feels that way.That why it was easier for her to cheer him up. Another exampIe Rukia is madami suited than Orihime is when she gave Ichigo her power he would have never find out that it was not his fault about his mother death. I don't think Ichigo would have never ilipat from the depression about his mother if she was never there. In other words Ichigo would always blame about his mother death and never ilipat on. Also, Rukia knew him first before Orihime and even though Orhime always saw him at her class, she never talked to him till he became a soul reaper. In other words without Rukia, Orihime would have talk to him and never fall in love. Ichigo need Rukia and Rukia needs Ichigo.

Orihime is the better choice lchigo because she has always shown him unconditional Love. Unlike Rukia, Orihime lives in the land of the living and doesn't have to make sacrifices to be with him, and him with her.

Rukia. why? aside from the fact that i really get nakakatindig balahibo and mga paru-paro in my stomach when i see them on manga or anime together; it's just that from the very beginning of Bleach they were the first main characters to be introduced, and the whole story unravel when Rukia made Ichigo into a shinigami. Their story has a basis because Ichigo's whole character will not materialize if in the first place he did not become a shinigami. I believe that their story fit as the pag-ibig element in a Shounen manga because if Ichigo will fall for Orihime then their story would really appear as a typical shoujo plot where a typical highschool student fell in pag-ibig with a typical i-dont-care-about-love character, that would be a very lame story...i do not hate Orihime but i really find her fitting for Ishida, Ulquoirra or even chad (yes they are always together esp. in the beginning :) . i have tons of reasons but i think i already established the premise that Ichigo must be with Rukia because from the very start it's as if the story of ichigo started when rukia came in to his life :)

Ofcourse RUKIA! No doubt at it. Orihime is hot but orihime and ichigo's couple doesn't suits. Before in the beginning I thought she looks madami beautiful than rukia so maybe orihime and ichigo might become couple in future but later when orihime and the rest of her team entered the soul society for the first time and they all got separated, the things turned right at that very moment. Orihime and Orio got separated from the rest. Orihime and Orio they had many funny moments. Orihime forgot and tried to change her clothes near Orio and he was surprised and reacted shockingly. There are many funny moments of Orio and Orihime instead of Orihime and Ichigo. Orihime bumagay with quincy Orio than Ichigo. Ichigo and Rukia both are Divine couples. Pure Love! Though at present they call it friendship but their pag-ibig is so pure that can clearly be seen that they are made for each other. If the manga somehow turns and makes orihime and ichigo couples I guess 70% across the globe will stop pagbaba bleach manga. Orihime and Orio looks cute with each other and Ichigo and rukia looks divine couple. PURE TRUE LOVE!

Well the problem many people think about who they would prefere, Rukia or Orihme but not what matches them. So Rukia would make madami sence because there personality are madami like each other and there is a two sided love. Neather of them wants to admit it they are waiting for the person. So It should be Rukia and Ichigo and as for Orihme she would go better with Uryu

Knowing how the Anime/Manga ends,

It's a difficult question.

For me, Orihime was the worst choice. She loves him, but he's mostly been quite passive with regards to her (Except for when he saves her. He cares deeply for all of the people in his life, and I too found even with that, that Ulquiorra would have been a great match for Orihime)

I agree with a lot of people on here that say that both Rukia and Ichigo pag-ibig one another separately, as if it's a restrained but powerful love. It's never a resolved or confirmed 'love' as such, but you can see how they are drawn together, and how they trust one another completely, and how they feel the absence of one another when they are not together.

When he fought to save Rukia in the first arc, it was made to look as if he was in pag-ibig with Rukia, and I did start to wonder, until they gave a story background of Rukia and Renji, and from then Ichigo started to behave differently, less shell shocked sa pamamagitan ng Rukia's appearances and awkward habit of getting into scrapes.

This is where it gets complicated. Because I feel that Renji is completely in pag-ibig with Rukia, and always, in the back of his mind, has wanted to be back sa pamamagitan ng her side like they had been as children (Before she was adopted).

As much as I love, how Renji loves Rukia, both Rukia and Ichigo are aware of being on opposite sides (even discarding what Ichigo is i.e Human, not human etc) and there is a star-crossed element to them.

I haven't quite finished the Anime (Even though I know the ending), and I wonder, with Ichigo being what he is, if the future (Had Tito continued, or should he continue the arc) would unfold like this:

Renji has died in battle, and Orihime (being mostly human) has died of eventual old age. Ichigo hasn't aged particularly (due to his past) and finds Rukia, living finally in the soul society with her as a member of the Soul Squad.

In conclusion, for me, I think that deep down Ichigo has this undeveloped pag-ibig for Rukia, less open than her affection towards him, but I couldn't see them together if Renji and Orihime were still a factor. (As much as Orihime annoys me. Sorry Orihime!)

He should've gotten with Rukia, even though Ichigo didn't know at the time but he's a human born soul reaper, he may be human but he's 100% soul reaper (Not actually a substitute) he just needed something to awaken his dormant soul reaper abilities, orihime is just a babbling bafoon that is just a damsel in distress trying to be tough, it was disappointing at the least, but if the producers are fine with making ichigo become just a body chaser even though he and Rukia had a much stronger relationship, Orihime to me was just the hollywood ditz that always messes up some way

this stinks.

Rukiaaaa, they need to fix that in the anime.
