Somehow this leads to her stating season 2 is my favourite, which shocks me, because season 3 is my favourite for many many reasons, then i end up listing the seasons from best to worse imo.
For me s4 has always been my least favourite (until season 7 but don't get me started on that), and not just because of leyton, but because for me its when the ipakita started to lose what made it so special. Forget the pucas effect form having them shoved down our throats towards the end, what about the fact they used it to take peytons character down a few pegs, suggesting she's some dumb stupid blonde who needs Lucas and can't even tell a pinch of salt form a handful! and i'll stop ranting about how season 4 ruined my then favourite character P Sawyer before mI liek decide to hunt down Mark. It was also how they treated Brooke, though will never take back Brachel. The way friendships were all but forgotten and three seasons of build up was forgotten in the name of splitting apart the core five, which resulted in disconnected stories, really lame ones, and a lack of emotion. the whole style of the ipakita changed, from the writing, filming and the traditional quotes. It's when the ipakita stopped making sense!!! when little thinsgw ere forgotten and consitancy lost. One of the big things first messed with in season 4 was the time line which has lead to many confused fans since.
To keep it simple the easiest explanation would be that unlike most shows where a season would represent a year, in OTH land each season is half a school year. 1-2 Junior taon of high school and seasons 3-4 the senior year. Good plan, simple, drags high shool on longer.
Season four muddies it, Haley's pregnancy goes from being not noticebale to about to pop seemingly over night, and then add in the ever changing petsa of the school shooting. I personally have always gone sa pamamagitan ng the each season half a taon belief, meaning each season is roughly 6 months, a pregnancy is about 9 mnths, so Haley has Jamie in the s4 finale so she got pregnant around two thirds into s3 or something, around the rain ep perhaps? hmmm, naley do have a fight about contraception in s3, was that where the f up was??? questions, questions. So i've always believed that the majority of senior taon was all bl-y, not lp-y. I was never confused because i stuck with the each season is half a school taon theory, which even adds up the timing of naley's weddings, if they had the first at the end of s1 then their one taon anniversary should be end of s3, coincidentally when they renew their vows. But i have come across on the net the confusion s4 screw ups has ibingiay fans about the timeline, which leads to some scary (and really unliked sa pamamagitan ng me) evidence that s3 bl was a mere few weeks or some shit like that and only a blink in their senior taon with it being out of odds with all other high school seasons and spanning an uncharacteristic short period of time.
Hours later i'm listening to music in my room, while pagbaba and chatting to a friend on msn when randomly out of nowhere oth comes back into my mind when brookes birthday pops into my head, and i recall that in season 4 we catch a glimpse of her birth certificate which reveals her birth date. Brooke's birthday is the beginning of season 4. So i think if i compare her birthday to the school taon it gives us some madami clarity into the oth timeline. I didn't know when the school yeat starts in America so i had to look it up on the net, from what I found its like September. As shown in 402, Brooke was born on the 4th of March. September, October, November, December, January, February... March. S3 would have started in early September, s4 started late Feb or early March which is evidence to prove that the ipakita DOES indeed follow the each season is half a school taon timeline INCLUDING s3. And that BL's time is longer than some people pass it off as. Though season 4 like's to f it all up this small petsa fits perfectly into the big picture. So though there have been a lot of screw ups, as fans we have to choose what to follow and what to ignore as mark and co's stupidity. So the susunod time the timeline argument is used especially to demote what BL shared, ingore the shit that screws the timeline up and focus on this small piece of evidence that backs the half school taon per season theory and throw this out there.
