A lot of people on the tagahanga spot for the ipakita Buto are trying to claim that kastilyo is a cheap trashy remake of Bones, this is one of the least true things I've ever heard, what are your opinions?

I agree. I'm a BIG Buto fan...from the beginning and kastilyo too, but kastilyo is really different from Bones. It's way madami comedy, their relationship is just different, etc, etc.
The only thing in common is that both the "cops" work with someone who's not a cop and that there's sexual tension. I really don't see that much similarities....

I am a big Buto tagahanga and a big kastilyo fan... but I kind of like kastilyo just a little better, partly because it's new and exciting and there's still a lot to learn about the characters.

There ARE several things in common between Buto and Castle, but for me, that just makes it madami interesting. For example, both Buto and kastilyo bituin former Whedon stars (Boreanaz and Fillion, respectively). Both Buto and kastilyo involve writers (Brennan, Castle) and both Buto and kastilyo involve solving crimes. They both have a strong-willed, serious (but not always) female lead, and a witty, somewhat goofy (but not always) male lead. There is sexual tension between the leads on both shows.

But if we were to take this to mean that kastilyo was a knockoff of Bones, then we'd also have to say that NCIS is a knockoff of JAG and/or CSI. We'd have to say that CSI is a knockoff of Forensic Files.

It's kind of like that crazy comment I read sa pamamagitan ng a girl who claimed that "Wolfman" was a knockoff of "New Moon" just because they both involved werewolves. Is the premise of kastilyo an old premise? Yes - but it's a premise that works. Which is why shows like Buto and Castle, as well as Law and Order and CSI, and even House, which all use that mix of crime, mystery, quirkiness and sexual tension to draw you in, are as successful as they are.

I have watched one episode of Buto and almost all the episodes of Castle. I pag-ibig kastilyo because it seems to have madami of a balance between the light and dark moments. And I like the humor in Castle. AND not to mention I keep wanting Beckett and kastilyo to halik AlREADY!

I see where people get it, and that's what some of my mga kaibigan have told me too. Yet shows have to start somewhere, and in my opinion, two shows can be almost alike without being the same. Yeah, I see where Buto and kastilyo are alike, but no, it's not really a cheap remake.

I have watched only one episode of Buto and it's so different!
I was totally into kastilyo the moment I watched my first episode because it has a combination of drama, humour, and crime :) But Buto is madami serious and it doesn't have the humour factor~!
They are two totally different shows...

I pag-ibig Buto and castle, kastilyo is much different to Buto though they have the same chemistry as Buto and booth, its completely different story and madami interviewing the suspects then seeing what happened to them, but it like any ipakita really they r similar in some way

kastilyo is really awesome,its a remake, but definitely not trashy or cheap.I pag-ibig kastilyo and Buto but I loved Buto first so Buto is my paborito ipakita , but kastilyo has made it to my tuktok three .Don't know if it is segundo or third, they are both amazing in there own way.
