 Awkward.
Awkward.
These have been popping up here, and I thought it would be fun to make one (:

My real name is Annika (ANN-EH-KA) Sorry, I get lots of pronunciations. I'm only 13, but I'll be turnign 14 on Oct. 13th. I live in the United States. I keep my Disney/Animated movie obsession a secret. *sigh* Middle school. Anyways, my IQ is 150 o-o I pag-ibig math, history, chemistry, and English. I hope to attend Stanford or Princeton. I want to get into animation or maybe prosthetic makeup. I pag-ibig Pagsulat and drawing. I'm super shy, and antisocial, which makes the Internet just the thing for me (; Now it's time for the questions!

1.Who was your paborito animated character as a child?
Hmm.. Honestly, I don't remember. My mom sinabi I was into Anneliese from Barbie's Princess and the Pauper. Also, she sinabi I liked Jane Porter.
 (:
(:

2. Who is your paborito heroine now?
Ha. Things never change. Jane Porter is my favorite. (: I just pag-ibig her personality, humor, wardrobe, and just everything about her♥
 I pag-ibig her♥
I pag-ibig her♥

3. Which heroine has influenced you the most?
There are so many, but honestly Jane Porter. Hmm, this is getting repetitive xD She influenced me sa pamamagitan ng ipinapakita me that I should always follow my heart.
 They're so cute!
They're so cute!

4. Which heroine is your look alike/ Which do you look most like?
I never really went into depth about this. I have been told that my face is similar to Snow White. I have kahel hair, not as bright as Merida, closer to Kim Possible. My body is like Alice or Wendy xD
 Lol.
Lol.

5. Which heroine is your "spirit animal?"
It could be Pocahontas. I am not as connected to nature, but I do pag-ibig it. Also, I am quiet, like her, but I stand for what I believe in when I have to.
 Yep.
Yep.

6. What is your paborito type of heroine?
Well, I never realized this until I made my paborito animated female character list, but I pag-ibig the smart, sarcastic type of girl, who is also strong. Similar to Jane Porter, Helga, Ting-Ting etc..
 c;
c;

7. Who are the heroines you wished you looked like?
I wish I looked like Tzipporah, Poca, Esmeralda, or Nani. I'm like Edward Cullen people, I'm not familiar with the whole "tanning" thing. o-o Face wise, I wish I looked like Jane Porter, Giselle, kulay-lila Parr, Rapunzel or Kida.
Oh, man. I wish soo bad. ;D
Oh, man. I wish soo bad. ;D

8. Who are the heroines you wished you were most like?
Honestly, I wish I was madami like Esmeralda or Mulan. They are outspoken, strong characters. I am nothing like them. AT ALL. I am not bravo in any way, shape, or form.
 Antisocial, shy me.
Antisocial, shy me.

9. What is your paborito outfit/dress?
I have always loved Cinderella's wedding toga in her original movie. It's stunning,in my opinion. I also pag-ibig Tiana's green wedding dress.
 ♥♥♥
♥♥♥

10.What heroine do you wish existed?
Hmm.. I'm not positive. I would pag-ibig an all out nerd, bookworm, awkward girl. It's been done, subtly, but I would pag-ibig a full blown female character. if I could choose one place I wish a heroine was from, maybe Hapon or Italy. I just pag-ibig both places♥
 That would be coooool.
That would be coooool.

I asked people that voted to rank their paborito heroine outfits, and they nagkomento with their ranks. A total of 24 users took part. The ranks here are an average of the ranks of everyone that commented. The scoring of the ranks was done sa pamamagitan ng a total point score (combined points to each character from the lists of all of the people that participated)! For example, if somebody had Robin hood as #1 on their list, then it gets 10 points. If another person has him as #2, he gets 9 points and so on. If Robin hood is not in ranked in the tuktok 10 on somebody's list, he gets no points.

So here are the...

uy Fanpoppers, I am doing a review on a movie I was Pagsulat that was expected to be released on TAY (Talk Among Yourselves) very soon. I have an excerpt from the intro of the review; it’s a very interesting yet dark fact-filled story of the making and behind the scenes drama behind Warner Bros’ obscure Non-Disney Film/Disney Knockoff, Quest for Calmelot.

When Warner Bros. Feature Animation was founded in ’94, they have planned to make two projects to release for theaters, with the Live-Action/Animated Hybrid Film puwang siksikan planned for the November 1996 release and the film adaption of...

I was thinking of this while watching the other araw the Nostalgia Critic's review of the sisne Princess, and how critical and overly nitpicky he was in general towards this movie...

And that made me think how almost all non-Disney pelikula are treated in this way (of course, there are a few notable exceptions as the Studio Ghibli films and the Dreamworks ones), that audiences feel the need that if they are animated pelikula which aren't Disney, they must be held in an impossibly high standard and they must please every demand of the audience.

Why is that? Why is it that any animated non-Disney movie...
