After that puso break, I heard my mom calling me to come to dinner. As I helped her clean up, she said, "You've been awfully quiet, Anthony. Is anything wrong?" I said, "Terra told me that she likes someone else and broke up with me." She said, "I'm sorry." I said, "I'm back to square one." She said, "Don't worry. You'll find someone new." I said, "Yeah, I'll be in college sa pamamagitan ng then." She said, "Don't think like that. pag-ibig comes in unexpected ways." I said, "I guess you're right." I went upstairs and turned on the radio. Two hours later, I fell asleep. That night, I had a nightmare. I had a dream that I was struggling with severe depression. I started cutting myself. Gradually, it got worse. At midnight, I went to the docks. I jumped in the ocean and attempted to drown myself. Then, I had a sudden will to live. I swam to the surface gasping for breath. I swam and swam, and the water was cold. Suddenly, a wave threw me against a rock. I felt the pain in my side. It felt like it was bleeding. I washed up on shore. I was weak, exhausted, and seriously injured. I called for help, but my cries were fruitless. Suddenly, I felt someone shaking me. I groaned and said, "Please don't hurt me." I then heard a voice say, "Anthony, it's Simon. Wake up." I woke up. He said, "It's fifteen after 10:00. You left the radio on, too." I said, "Oh my!" He said, "It's so unlike you. Are you okay?" I said, "Oh, I just had a terrible nightmare." He looked into my sad eyes. He said, "It's madami than that. I know." I said, "Terra dumped me for someone else." He said, "I guess that's why you had the nightmare." I said, "Yeah." I ate a quick breakfast, and Simon jammed with me to keep my mind off of Terra. After he left, she was back on my mind. I thought about staying awake all night to keep from having a nightmare, but I knew that going without sleep wasn't healthy. I went to bed, and I prayed that I wouldn't have another nightmare.
