One day, when I was walking to school, I ran into my friend, Dean. He said, "Hey, Anthony!" I said, "What's up, Deano?" I always greeted him this way. He said, "Not much." I then said, "This week has been rainy. It's nice to have sunny weather for a change, isn't it?" He said, "Yeah." He then asked, "So, how are you and Reese doing?" I said, "Our relationship is going well. Thank you for asking." He asked, "How have you been since your near death experience?" I said, "It hasn't changed my attitude toward the ocean." He said, "I guess that means you're doing okay. Are you?" I said, "Yeah. It's not the worst thing I've been through." He said, "Yeah, you were attacked sa pamamagitan ng a madala once." I said, "Yes, and I have the scars to prove it." Just then, the kampanilya rang. He said, "See you later, Anthony!" I said, "All right, see you!" Now Dean had long hair, but it wasn't as long as mine, and he had a slight beard. You might want to remember him. He's pretty important in my story here. Later that day, Reese and I talked. She asked, "Anthony, would you like to go to the prom?" I said, "I was going to ask you the same thing." She asked, "So, is that a yes?" I nodded. She hugged me. I said, "It's only October. We have plenty of time to prepare." She said, "That's right." I had dreams of going to prom with Reese. Junior prom was a big deal to me. Looking back on it now, I guess it wasn't as big of a deal as I thought. Of course, I was younger then. As I walked tahanan from school, Simon tackled me to the ground. He said, "I just heard about you and Reese!" Charles came behind me. He said, "Way to go, Anthony!" That night, Simon and I met Charles at The Boiling Crab. Afterward, we went back to my house and jammed for a while. After they left, I went to bed, exhausted but happy.
