Part I Our First Tour
After we graduated college, we released our third album, Hurricane. It contained our pamagat track and segundo single, "Hurricane." The songs lyrics were about my struggle to find friends, as well as other struggles I've faced in the past. Other tracks included: "Bridges," "Past Life," "There's madami to Life Than Money," "All I Ever Hear is Lies, Lies, Lies," "Me and My Old Fender," "Midnight," "Happy Mississippi Blues," and "Poppin' and Lockin'." The album received even madami attention than Elegy. We started touring, and our tour was successful. My mom came to every konsiyerto she could. If she couldn't make it, she always called ahead of time. I understood. Sometimes we'd get a standing ovation, and my mom and Bradley would always stand.
Part II The End of an Era for Sherry
A araw after we finished the tour, my mom fixed pancakes for breakfast, my favorite. As my mom and I were washing the dishes, I heard the doorbell ring. It was Sherry. I said, "Oh, hi, Sherry." She said, "Hi, Anthony." I said, "I was just about to visit you. I missed you." She said, "Now that you're a famous rock star, you'll let your fame go to your head and not care about me." I said, "Did you not listen to the lyrics in our song? 'There's madami to life than money, you also need air to breathe and someone to love.' Where were you when our album was released?" She said, "You can't fool me with that pitiful disguise. It's over." She then slapped me on the face, literally. It really hurt, because I was wearing my glasses. That day, I listened to the Red Hot Chili Peppers song, "Million Miles of Water." I could really relate to the lyric, "Four years in, and you never even sinabi goodbye."
