Well, I've been on Fanpop for a while, and now I think it is time to tell my testimony.

I was born into a Christian family, went to church every week, and "accepted" Hesus when I was 8.

Did I understand, no, I wasn't a Christian, I still did the things of the world, I sinned, I had a short-temper, and I didn't care.

My short-temper was horrible, no one would play anything with me, without me getting angry at them for changing the rules, making up the game, or cheating. The actions from resulting from my temper caused me to sin alot.

Well, my family eventually moved, and I was ok with it, b/c it...

So I'm a little frustrated. I'll just state that right now. Partly, because there is a difference between having faith, and being a unique individual with your own opinions, beliefs, ideas, attitudes, virtues and vices.

I have seen at least two picks on this spot that I can think of off the tuktok of my head that have asked the general question, "Can you be Christian if you are/believe/think [Insert Supposed Vice/Sin/Evil Thing Here]?" But they aren't the only places I see it. I hear it from friends. I see it in forums both on Fanpop and off of it. And it really, really bugs me.

I don't care what...

Josie ran.

“Maybe I made a mistake thinking you’d understand!”

“Well maybe I made a mistake
marrying you!”

She ran, not heeding the tempest that tore at her clothes nor caring where she fled to as long as it was someplace far from home. Away from the chaos of her fighting parents and the hopelessness of the choice she was faced with.

“A tumor?”

“...it’s pressing on your brain stem and growing very rapidly. If it isn’t taken care of soon, it will be life-threatening...the surgery, however, would cost you your hearing... Permanently...”

Her puso pounded in time with her feet;...

I've noticed that recently there have been a lot of non-Christians on this spot. I'm fine with that. But when a non-Christian goes onto this spot just to criticize and insult our religion.... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this activity is similar to that of an "Internet Troll". If you really want to argue about the beliefs and values of kristyanismo or try to prove it wrong, there is a place for that and it's called The pagtatalo Spot. I'm very tempted to name names, but I won't.

I think that's all that needs to be said. Please don't criticize me about the length of this, it was meant purely as a spot announcement, not an article, but Fanpop hasn't got that feature yet so I'll have to make do with Pagsulat it as an article.

Here's a lil something I'd like to talk about here: Science

As lots of you know, I'm a Christian and all that. And well..IMHO, Science itself was never bad or wrong. I like it, so I have nothing against Athiests. It's just that sometimes they go too far with it. I mean, making medicine and trying to help people--that's great. That's AWESOME. But...when they use it to clone and do other things that no human should ever have access to, that's when it's bad. And like, why? Why is it that Atheists trust Science? It's flawed like we all are. We are all imperfect, and science was made sa pamamagitan ng imperfect people. So..why? Why would u trust something that's just as flawed as u are?
I'm taking a history course this year, and I was supposed to write an essay on the reasons for success of Christianity. Enjoy!

Today, kristyanismo is one of the most wide-spread religions of the world. But its history is filled with bloodshed and violence; early Christians had to endure horrific punishments for their faith. There are many stories of martyrs being stoned to death; of Christians’ bodies being used as torches to light Roman feasts; of people being crucified, sometimes upside-down, simply because they refused to renounce Hesus Christ as their saviour. In the midst of such persecution,...

Matthew 28:19-20 describes how we must spread the Word of Hesus Christ. We should teach everyone—Christians and nonbelievers alike—about God. Tell them to believe and then strengthen their faith. Try to teach as many places as you can. Teach them the rules and mga tula of the Bible. It doesn’t matter what they say about your beliefs, you know you’re right and that God is with you.
Once the Holy Spirit came at the Pentecost, the Apostles were now full of strength to do what Hesus told them. First, Peter healed a crippled beggar in the name...

"Alright fine, he was not a good human teacher. Why should I believe he was the Son of God and not a liar?"

The Bible contains many prophecies about the Messiah written hundreds of years before Hesus was born. These include when He would be born, where He would be born and how he would die.

Jesus fulfilled all of these propecies in his lifetime. Some he could contol, such as entering Jerusalem on a donkey, but many others such as being born in Bethlehem or being betrayed for 30 pieces of silver were completely beyond His control.

Beyond all the prophetic evidence, Hesus told his followers very...

(No offense intended, although I'm sure some will be taken. This isn't meant to belittle your beliefs or the power of your prayers, it's meant to ipakita why your prayers may offend people)

I am an Atheist. Most of you know that. You know that I wander around on the kristyanismo spot so that I can try and understand God and Christianity, even if I don't believe in it. Does my mere presence offend some people here? Does it offend anyone here that I don't like being prayed for?

Try to think about this reasonably. I'm assuming that you don't believe in Allah, the Muslim God. Imagine that you sat down...

I call myself a Luciferian most of the time, I can call myself a Christian and a Satanist sometimes, but if I feel madami close to God, I'll probably call myself a Christian, or if I feel closer to Lucifer, I'll call myself a Satanist, but in the the end I'm a Luciferian.

No, I don't call myself a Luciferian because I pag-ibig Lucifer madami than God. I pag-ibig God and Lucifer equally. I see Lucifer as what he truly was and still is, before Lucifer had fallen from Heaven.
I believe that God is the one and only God, though, and who had created Adam and Eve and who had vowed to protect us.

I believe that...

That was the tanong Hesus asked the women at the well, as you read in John 4:7. Why would Hesus need man to do him a favor in the first place? Is He not the Almighty God who can do whatever He wants? So why would He need to ask a foreign women to give Him some water? Why would He ask you for a favor today?

You can respond like so many others do and say 'just leave me alone, I don't need you' and he probably would. You look at him just like one of these annoying insurance sales men that really don't want to leave you alone until they got you to either buy something from them or throw something...

The araw after pasko 2004, my brother and I decided to go pagpaparagos on the burol that ran down to our school buildings. I was ten, and he was seven. That morning as I woke up, however, I had a strange feeling. I felt a sense of foreboding, warning me to take caution. Because of this, we brought our trusty dog, Shadow, along. We were sledding, and one time, my brother pushed off extra hard and flew down the hill. He was going too fast and was going to run into the pader of the school. But I was too frightened to call out. Shadow, however, wasn't. She let out a shrill bark, which was the only...

Jesus Christ Superstar is a rock opera about the last seven days of the life of Christ before His crucifixion. Critics have ibingiay it rave reviews. Even some churches have sung its praises. Some have even hailed it as a means of presenting Christ to young people in a way they will understand and accept.

However, no one who examines it in the light of Scripture can be happy with the opera. It is impossible to see the Superstar as anything but one of the "false Christs" of whom the Lord Hesus Christ warned us (Matthew...

This is a song called "Like A Lion", and it is a Gospel song. I hope you like it!
(Steady clap beat)
Let pag-ibig explode and bring the dead to life
A pag-ibig so bold
To see a revolution somehow.
Let pag-ibig explode and bring the dead to life
A pag-ibig so bold
To bring a revolution somehow

Now I'm Nawawala in your freedom
This world I'll overcome!

My God is not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
My God is not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion

(Steady clap beat)

Let hope arise and make the darkness hide
My faith is cold
I need a resurrection somehow
Let hope arise...

I have no problem with homosexuality, and either way, the bible contradicts itself in that regard when it states that you should not lie to people, not even yourself. In other words, being gay is NOT a problem, lying to yourself about being gay, however, is. The bible NEVER states that homosexuality is a sin though. That problem has arisen due to people who are both Christian and afraid of something different. These people tend to have issues with different races as well, proving that it ISN'T the bible that states "homosexuality is a problem" so much as people who have high positions (or think...

In our life, there are two categories of words. The first one is “good and evil” and the segundo one is “God and Devil”. As you can see If you add an “o” to the word “God” it becomes “good” and If you take the “d” off the word “devil” it becomes “evil”. So, this world began with good and evil and people made up God and Devil because of their need for a greater power. Right now we don’t really care If there is a God and a Devil or not.

Let’s cut the world in the middle. One half believes in the “good and evil” category and the other half believes in the...

Individual Satisfaction - Father

Exploitation - Son

* You are what you can afford
* pag-ibig thy cheap goods even if you don’t know they came from a child sweat shop

(Just something I found on FB and thought was interesting.)

The fact that God gave us the Bible is an evidence and illustration of His pag-ibig for us. The term “revelation” simply means that God communicated to mankind what He is like and how we can have a right relationship with Him. These are things that we could not have known had God not divinely revealed them to us in the Bible. Although God’s revelation of Himself in the Bible was ibingiay progressively over approximately 1500 years, it has always contained everything man needs to know about God in order to have a right relationship with...

I am an outright, outspoken, Christian. I believe the Bible to be completely true, I believe Hesus to be the Christ, I do not condone or tolerate
~Unmarried sex
~Foul language

~Homosexuality
~Abortion
And much more. I am very proud of my Faith, and have NO regrets about its stances. You will not hear me say “I agree with everything Christian… except this” and when it comes to a romantic relationship, I see it as not just a joining of people as one, but a union of responsibility sa pamamagitan ng both to keep the other strong in their Faith.
