ugh, in the Philippines, we celebrate HARDCORE/ but I live in Maryland now, so I'll ipakita you both. If pasko is your one and only obsession, celebrate in the Philippines. Fireworks. People handing out money. IT STARTS IN DANG SEPTEMBER ENDS IN MARCH Family is EVERYTHING Enemies become friends GAH, THE FOOD
In good old USA: hapunan with friends We get all nostalgic Staying up late because I wish it snows/the pasko lights are too pretty to stop looking at Craft--making Giving We donate half our money to schools, poor children, etc.
pasko has changed so much from when I was a child. I enjoyed pasko then, then I do now. All of my cousins are grown up and have their own families. My sister lives with her boyfriend so she goes to his family's house for pasko then to our parents house, which really pisses me off. My sister is 24 and still rebels, meaning mga kaibigan and boyfriends come first. I only have one living Grand parent now. My Nana who always put on the best pasko dinners and had my relatives from my mom's side over and we would play this pasko gift game, I forget what it's called, but I remember it being a lot of fun. So basically what I like to do on pasko is spend the araw with my family and bake pasko goodies. I hope when I have children of my own it will get better again.
