It was about four days before pasko and Kacey, (a.k.a. Numbuh 7) was busy decorating the Sector V puno house. Her small Golden Retriever puppy, Toby, was handing her ornaments to put on the pasko puno with his mouth. Toby was wagging his tail violently. A sign of happiness. Kacey's Australian cousin Wally (a.k.a. Numbuh 4) walked in. He didn't look too happy.
"What's up, Wally?" Kacey asked in a generous tone while grabbing another ornament from Toby. Wally grumbled to himself before answering her question.
"N- Nothing. I'm fine." He quickly shed away a few tears. Toby whined and then rubbed against Wally's leg like a cat.
"Are you sure?" Kacey asked. "'Cause Toby seems to have noticed you're sad." Wally looked down at the tuta only to gently ilipat him away with his foot. Then, Kacey's smile faded into a frown.
"Listen, Wally, it's four days before Christmas. You have three to lighten up." Wally growled. Just because Kacey was a taon older than him and 1 grade ahead, it didn't mean she could tell him what to do.
"Fine then!" He put his hoodie up and his hands in his pockets and walked away. Just then he ran into Kuki (a.k.a. Numbuh 3) another one of his team-mates.
"Hi, Wally!" Kuki sinabi cheerfully. She then held out a very long piece of paper. Wally looked confused.
"Hey, Kuki." He replied. "Um, what's that paper for?" Kuki's grin stretched from ear to ear.
"It's my pasko list, silly!" Kuki held it out to Wally's face. "I have to put it under the puno so one of Santa's elves can bring it to him!" She then saw Wally's face. She decided to cheer him up. "What's on your list?" Kuki asked. Wally didn't have much of a list. He then pulled out a little piece of paper. It read; Dear Santa, It's me, Wallabee Beetles. I know I haven't written to you since I was 6 but, this is an emergency! You can take all of my presents from under the puno back, because all I want for pasko this taon is the girl of my dreams. Then in deep bold letters was; ~Wallabee "Wally" Beetles. Wally quickly put the note in his pocket.
"Um, I don't really care what I get for pasko this year." Wally lied. He didn't want to ipakita the note to Kuki. He pushed Kuki out of the way and ran into his room.
Kuki shrugged and then walked into the room where the pasko puno was being set up. On the sopa was Abby (a.k.a. Numbuh 5) pagbaba a magazine and Hoagie (a.k.a. Numbuh 2) eating a hamburger. Kuki plopped onto the sopa and shoved her pasko listahan in Abby's face.
"Kuki! Stop it!" Abby shouted scooching over towards Hoagie. But when some of his burger spilled onto her magazine she scooched back over towards Kuki.
"It's my pasko list, Abby!" Kuki shouted adding another thing to the list. "What's on yours?"
Abby simply replied with the truth. "I ain't got no pasko list. Abby gets what Santa brings her." She smiled at Kuki then went back to her magazine. Kacey just finished the puno at that moment.
"Done!" Kacey announced. Toby barked happily. He then cuddled on Kuki's lap.
"Hi, Toby!" Kuki exclaimed. Toby barked again. Then, Wally walked in and sat susunod to Kuki. Toby hopped on Wally's lap but Wally put him back on Kuki's lap.
" Hey, Wally!" Hoagie sinabi to Wally. "You alright? You usually pag-ibig playing with Toby!" Wally wasn't too sure about telling Hoagie what was on his mind. H decided to tell a different story.
"Uh, I'm sad because Numbuh 1 ain't gonna be here for this Christmas." Wally answered. But saying that brought down everyone's mood. Wally just decided to forget about it and take a nap on the couch.
