Twilight- A seriously 'unbalanced' fanbase 

Wow. That's crazy. It's also one of the weirdest things about the die hard Twilight fans, they don't even have a good time doing it. There is such a bad atmosphere among the die hards. Other fanbases seem to have a much better feeling. Even though it's not something I'm personally into I've known people who've lined up for things like Buffy conventions and they were all nice to eachother and had a great time meeting fellow fans. They didn't shove, trample or treat the other fans like they were in the way. Even if I liked Twilight I wouldn't care to meet the actors or go to conventions, because so many of the die hards have created such a bad 'anti-community' feeling. I feel sorry for the sane people who like the series because they are so outnumbered by the rabid fans it must have sucked all the fun out of it.

I really pity the people at the mall, but the organizers should have looked a bit into what Twilight is and how massive its fanbase is.

I agree with Asvini.

This fanbase is dangerous, girls getting trampled, getting the air knocked out of their lungs, getting their bones broken, getting black eyes and blistered bleeding feet and migraines and sickness and who knows what else... and why? Because some way-too-hyper-somebody-knock-her-out-for-g­ood­nes­s-s­ake girls pushed and shoved and elbowed and screamed because they wanted a scribble and a very quick (2 second) smile?
