New Years Eve. The one night you had looked pasulong to for the whole year. To spend it with Dally, your boyfriend, would be perfect. But of course, nothing is ever perfect. Dally walked out of the house during an argument this morning, and you hadn't heard from him since. You sit at tahanan alone, assuming Dally was out getting drunk or something. The phone rings, and your best friend asks you to go out and party with her. You agree to go to try to get your mind off of Dally, hang up the phone, and go to get ready. She picks you up and you guys drive to one of the neighbourhood parties. Your friend is having a good time, and you're trying to smile through the pain of missing Dally. The countdown starts, and everyone at the party gathers around with their boyfriends and girlfriends, counting down. "10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2..1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" Everyone screams at once. Then, all of a sudden, you feel a pair of arms balutin around your waist and turn you around. "Dally?" "ERIN! Babe, I'm so sorry" before you can even answer he leans in and kisses you passionately. When your lips separate, you're super confused. "I'm sorry for running out, but babe I'm not mad anymore." He says. "Where were you all night?!" "I was getting this..." He gets down on one knee and smiles at you while revealing a beautiful diamond ring. "Erin, will yo-" "OH MY GOSH YES!" You lean in and halik him without letting him finish. He slips the ring on your finger. It was perfect after all.
