spoiler warning: in Midnight Elena eventually says that she is glad that Damon died for Bonnie because it was evidence of his "feelings for her". Does she mean his feelings for Bonnie or Elena? I think it is Bonnie, but I wanted to double check.

This was one of the parts in the book I came back to look at and im pretty sure when Elena sinabi this that she sinabi it because she sort of saying this goodbye to Damon and that she knows its Stefan and always will be but I think Elena knows what Bonnie and Damon have so In this scene I think she was just giving Damon a ''boost'' to ipakita Damon that you should stop chasing me now (( <-- what I think anyways haha proberly wrong :) ))

I honestly dont think it is evidence for Damons feelings for Elena I mean you can not ignore the fact that Damopn was crying when he found Bonnie hurt and no one can forget the bathtub scene in Dark Runion where Damons soul opened and he embraced Bonnie into his arms and he felt sothing for her, he diddnt no what it was and do you know why because he has never felt somthing like this its called love!! and Damon has never felt true pag-ibig for anyone before. So back to my point Damon wouldnt save Bonnie to ipakita elena his humanity or how much he will do to keep elena happy he did it because I truly think Damon loves Bonnie but is blinded to see because of his goal

I thought she meant herself at first. But after pagbaba that part over and over, I think she meant Bonnie. At least I hope so. Why would Damon dying for BONNIE be evidence that he has feelings for Elena? I dont get it. And plus we already know he has for feelings for Elena (and i am sure she knew as well) from the very beginning.

I thought she meant that Damon had feelings for herself at first. LOL.

But after re-reading it carefully, I think she meant Bonnie. She didn't mention herself in the paragraph, and only Bonnie and Damon.

So, I agree. I think she was talking about Bonnie.
