Damon asked Emily to protect Katherine at any cost, after the founding families took Katherine, right? Then Stefan and Damon tried to save Katherine, but died in the process. When they woke up, Damon thought Katherine was dead, he thought that she was burned in the apoy (which means he thought that Emily spell didn't work), which explains why he wanted to die. Hi there, I’m a new member on Fanpop, and a life-long watcher of the Vampire Diaries +The Originals; it’s been a long time since I’ve changed my opinions about different couples, according to their character development (for example, I became Dair tagahanga after I’d ibingiay up Chair) in different shows (in my teenage years), vampire diaries is no exception either. However, the major inconvenience made me totally indifferent not only towards Delena/Bamon/Stelena petty wars, also towards ALL stupid triangles excessively created nowadays. I’ll explain later.

Ok, so I thought I'd take some time to explain why I feel Bonnie's treatment on the ipakita is worst than all the other characters. First of all, I think all us Bonnie supporters realize that every character on the ipakita has had their share of issues and pain. TVD is a drama after all so all the characters will end up wth drama filled lives. but there's a formula of cost and benefit that all characters are treated according to; except Bonnie. I'm going to BRIEFLY touch on our main and main supporting characters. not that our villians, supporting side characters and guest characters aren't important....
