Why does a lot of people like Bamon?

The 'Bamon' tanong is one that most Delena fans cannot comprehend, and that is probably why the vast majority of us can't abide the thought of them paired together on the show. (Never read the books.) It just seems that Bamon fans see something happening in any scene Damon has with Bonnie on an imaginary plane which excludes everyone who DOESN'T ship them. For example, the spell scene in 2x10 is classified as a Bamon scene on YouTube, when it features Stefan and Jeremy, and most Bamon fans went nuts over it. They raved about their 'amazing eye sex' and hot chemistry, and how they're sure that Bamon will happen one araw and they can't wait until the araw that DE are over so Bamon will see the pag-ibig that has been under their noses all along. (These are real comments I've seen on YouTube for the above scene.) They also have the tendency to ship SE. But back to the question. I've learned that there are at least 4 aspects about Bamon which are attractive to the people who ship them:

1.) Forbidden love
2.) A relationship which begins with hatred
3.) The fact that the girl in tanong is his equal and isn't afraid to stand up to him and speak her mind
4.) The love/hate relationship

The crazy thing is, these are all things that Delena have in abundance. Season 2 began with Elena hating Damon, and is changing with her beginning to pag-ibig him, she's not afraid to speak her mind when she's with him (oh, and she doesn't need to give him aneurysms and set him on apoy to try and control him either); and as for the forbidden pag-ibig - she's going out with his brother! Can't get any madami forbidden than that, can it?! I think the reason why so many Delena fans don't get Bamon is because there's really nothing there - clearly, as I've illustrated with the spell scene, Bamon don't justify the existence of such a tagahanga following on the show. Maybe they do in the books, but you can separate the books from the ipakita and enjoy them as different things. I like Bonnie, and I think it's fine to enjoy her scenes with Damon on the ipakita as long as you enjoy them for what they are, not the prelude to the passionate romantic epic that Bamon fans have in their minds.

Because their Stelena fans who want Damon paired with someone else...

If we talk about the books, I can tell you that seems like Bamon is fate. Because Bonnie is the only woman Damon has ever listened to, he care about her and supposedly -in the books- we've never seen either of them smile like that ever before in their lives.
But if we talk about the show, is just because opposites attract; Bamon fans always says: because she is his new and better reality and she seems way madami reliable and good for him.
I tell you, I am not a Bamon fan, but if Damon & Bonnie happens it doesn´t matter, Stefan is Elena´s soulmate and that is a stupid fact that Delenas fans we need to see.
But, we have to enjoy the beautiful journey, that Delena is having just now.
We always will remember madami Damon/Elena because they have chemistry that Stefan/Elena or Damon/Bonnie will never have.

I haven't really seen "a lot" of people in support of it to be honest... it's all relative. The TVD fandom is HUGE and there are always people seeking alternatives to what's actually being offered in any fandom.

Personally, I've rewatched all the episodes madami times than I can count and read the books a freakish number of times as well. I don't see the appeal or anything there to actually make something substantial out of.

They don't really have many scenes to build on plus their characters severely clash and lack anything that could forge a meaningful relationship in either medium.

tuktok that off with the fact that I feel Kat's pagganap is a bit forced across from him and I don't really see much happening with these 2. I suppose everyone's different, it's just how I see it. I like Bonnie but across from Damon on the ipakita something is just off for me... I don't think I could even enjoy a platonic friendship with these two. I feel like they're pagbaba off a script and not fully alive near each other.

Anyway, I don't really get it, but like I said, there will always be those looking for an alternative. I just wish people around here would let it go. At the most, they'd be a horribly awkward fling. A foot note in the grand scheme of things. It doesn't really have me shaking in my boots.

Heck even if SE end together, why does that automatically mean DB in some people's heads? It doesn't. See, I think a lot of this is people caving into scare tactics and quite frankly, I'm not buying in to this movement.

To be frank, I can't even take this tanong seriously because it isn't even accurate. DB do not have "a lot" of fans. Statistically, they make up a very small portion of the TVD fanbase. The countless presinto that have been held this taon demonstrate this. The biggest example is this poll [ link ] Damon and Elena won sa pamamagitan ng 83 percent DESPITE DB fans voting for SE. Whether or not DB will ever happen is not something I know, but I do know it is a fact that Damon and Elena have the bigger fanbase, and sa pamamagitan ng a landslide too.

I really have no idea why people like Bamon, like WTF????? They are just just ughhhhhhhhhh

I find it rather odd that a Delena tagahanga with no History, no clubs or anything would post a tanong like why do so many fans want Bamon on a Delena spot? Here is an even better tanong why do gazillions of fans want Delena. In all due respect this is a Delena spot so we really try to avoid any Bamon talk on here we respect those who ship them but we don't and as such don't take their pairing seriously. Each to its own

'cuz there are a lot of people who like that love-hate relationship, but there's no relation-ship between bonnie and damon, that's not the point of TVD

Well, as Bamon and Delena fan, I want to say that for me and many people there is chemistry between damon and bonnie, lets talk about only bamon show:

First they have the hate/love relationship that it is interesting to see, I know Bonnie hates Damon and Damon well I cant not say that he hates her because I dont think so, he cares about her in some way, why??? because she is the only one who tries to kill him and still he doesnt do anything ( he easily can kill her but he doesnt and dont tell me it is because elena, because he kills elena's brother so that doesnt make any difference I think if he wants he will kill Bonnie and Elena doesnt notice)so I think in one point he doesnt hate her. This type of relationship is like ginto in tv shows or well litterature the hate that becomes pag-ibig it is amazing and amusing to watch.

segundo their scenes are so full of hate but still they had some chemistry between them that makes me interesting to watch, yes I know they doesnt stand each other but that is the reason why their scenes are so amazing, because it is a different scene we watch with delena ( damon is in pag-ibig with elena and put his tuta eyes and elena tries to hate Damon but she never hates him, she cares about him a lot, and well for me Elena really never hates Damon, she feels disappointed and hurt sa pamamagitan ng his actions but she never really hates him that it is the place to Bonnie who it is the only one who can see the bad that Damon have done)

Bamon for us Bamon fans, it is the possiblilty of something good for Damon maybe if the writers want to follow some steps of the book we can find that Damon and Bonnie had some connection and maybe Damon salvation is Bonnie because he seems to always follow the same path be in pag-ibig with the brother's girlfriend ( katerina and Elena) so for breaking that bilog they can put Damon in pag-ibig with someone else, because well Stefan and Elena always will be there, I know for Hard Core delena fans ( almost everybody) it is hard to accept but it is the true Elena loves Stefan, there is not denyal or pretending, Elena loves Stefan point and there is always going to be problem with Delena , elena also loves Damon but she always will have feelings for Stefan (come on girls she is willing to accept that Stefan drinks blood, she always think in stefan even when he is in the cave and she trades the freedom of Stefan with Elyan Is this not love??? I dont think so)

So I know that Elena is in the ipakita who brings the good in Damon but that doesnt mean that Elena will loves Damon madami than Stefan, nooo she cares about Damon ( She always sinabi that) but she always loves Stefan ( She sinabi that this is not an invention, and that makes some difference at one point of the show, the writers didnt put this in vain)

So, this is my reason for Bamon, I see something in the future, I see chemistry, but that it is all depends in how the writers want deal with the show, it is about them, not us.

It started with the fact that Damon & Bonnie had a somewhat romantic relationship in the book serias. I've never read the books (and I'm not planning on either) but from what I've heard the ipakita differs very much from the books, and the character's personality and relationship dynamics are completely different. That's how, despite having no romantic undertones and it being AU, the ship mannaged to have so many fans.
I think the fans who ship them right now are divided between two main reasons. It's probably a lot madami complicated than that, so beware, I'm generalizing:

1. Bonnie Stans that are really disappointed in the treatment of her sa pamamagitan ng the show, and deal with it sa pamamagitan ng shipping her with dynamic, charismatic, and fan-favorite characters because let's face it, in a ipakita about romance, this is how a character gets recognition (that's also one of the biggest reasons those fans hate Beremy). Along with Damon, some of them ship her with Kol, Klaus, and sometimes even Stefan.

2. ex-DE fans/ Damon stans that hate Elena/ Stelena fans/ etc. that ship them because they pag-ibig many parts of the DE dynamic, but can't ship them/ don't like some parts of it, so they throw everything they like about Delena on Bamon and ship them instead. It's not a very conscious decision, but madami like: "there's a lot I like about DE but I can't ship them, hey, Damon and Bonnie have a love/hate relationship too, lets ship it!". They are, from what I've gathered, the fans that tend to attack DE more, because they oppose it more. That being said, many Bamon fans have a tendency to hate on Elena, be it because she's the main character that gets the main storyline instead of Bonnie, or because of another reason that many times makes them ship Bamon.
I realize I'm generalizing a lot, and I'm sure there are many DB fans that don't ship them for the reasons above, and if this post offends you please comment.
