Am i the only one who thought that after watching 2x20-2x22 and hearing about Elena's plans for never turning and blah blah blah, that she was never really planning on being with Stefan forever?

i think that goes without saying. its as if she was trying to postpone the inevitable or just living in the moment lets say. all this shows me is that deep in her puso she cant really say she loves stefan completely or whole heartedly if she wasnt willing to give up her human want or need to become a mother or grow old which is only natural and HUMAN of her. thats why i believe if she is ever willing to make this sacrifice it will be when living as a human and all that goes with it isnt really living at all for her if its not with someone she cant live without. i feel she will realize this about her wanting and need to be with damon. she is suppose to become a vampire from what i understand so if she wasnt willing to do that for stefan after being with him so far i cant see her suddenly changing her mind after falling in pag-ibig with damon. i dont think the point of her falling in pag-ibig with damon is to realize that she cant live without stefan now. their pag-ibig would have made her see that if their pag-ibig was really that strong but everything thus far has shown me their so called epic pag-ibig was what they needed at the time and they will eventually see has run its coarse.

I think so too, but the problem is Damon is also a vampire. And if she doesn't want to turn, she can't be with either of them. That's the real problem. I don't know how this will turn out.

i think so but the most amazing moment that she sinabi that she doesnt want to become a vampire and damon sinabi that he has a secret and he miss being human so he basically doesnt want to become a vampire i have a strong feeling that damon will be human at the end i hope so

I think that at 17, Elena didn't think much about the future - didn't want to, really. I think that she's so young, she COULDN'T plan something like that, because she doesn't know what true pag-ibig really is. I'm not saying she doesn't pag-ibig Stefan - just that she has a limited experience of it at 17 years old. She also knows what being a vampire can do to you, and how it can end up, so that might have affected her as well. Still, if you loved a person so much you couldn't be without them, you would have to seriously consider becoming one at some stage. I mean, at the opposite end of the spectrum is Damon, who can't madala the thought of losing Elena forever so he tries to turn her sa pamamagitan ng force.
When Elena talks about growing up and having kids, you get the impression that she craves a normal life. But if you watch earlier episodes in Season 1, it seems like she knows what she wants (Stefan), in spite of knowing the dangers it could bring her, and that being with him is no big deal to her, because her life already had a lot of bad stuff in it anyway. It's ironic, because think of all the times she's told Stefan she loves him. She loves him...but not enough to want to spend eternity with him sa pamamagitan ng becoming a vampire. But if she doesn't want to be with him forever, then - can that really be true love? I guess that's the question. Is Elena being fair to Stefan, sa pamamagitan ng saying that, and then continuing to want to be in a relationship with him, when it will eventually cause pain to both of them when it hits an impasse? Elena wants it both ways: she wants to be in pag-ibig and have a relationship with a guy, because it gives her a sense of security in a chaotic life. But he can't give her what she wants, and she won't be able to have the kind of 'normal', secure life that she's probably always dreamed about with him.

Actuly in that moment i felled sory for stefan, don't get me wrong i'm a deleana fan, those words make clear that elena didn't put her"boyfriend"anywhere in her future plans.

is it just me who thinks Elena is a really weird character??!she says things that makes no sense like she says she doesn't know what pag-ibig is but she knows that she loves stefan!! than she says that she wants to have the choice of having kids and family even though she can't have them with Stefan ,and she wants to grow old ,so basically she considers Stefan a " high school sweet heart" not the pag-ibig of her life,she doesn't want to make sacrifices to be with him forever that's not love
what did she give back to him ?? nothing,while Stefan is always there for her ,thinks about nothing but her,i feel sorry for him ,i think he should be with someone who truly pag-ibig him like Katherine, i really have high hopes for Delena after 2x20-2x22
