Did i miss a scene ? In 3x05 damon gives elena back the kuwintas but in 3x07 elena tells that damon has the kuwintas :o whats going on ? When damon take back the kuwintas

Actually in 3x05 Damon tries to give Elena the kuwintas back but she doesn't want it anymore because Stefan is gone. They were at the Salvatore's house so I think that when she left to come back tahanan she also left the kuwintas there, on the mesa ;) so in 3x07 Damon has it
