First of all I wanna say that it was great episode,DE scenes were very pure and I'm glad she didn't pick him. She's still a girl,just 18 years old girl that wants to be safe,Damon is pag-ibig of her life and we all know that the moment they get together is the moment when TVD will end so...let's just be patient,ok? My artikulo is about the little things I've been collectiong for a long time and these things are the reasons why DE is written in the stars,why it was them from the very first moment and why their story is written in an epic way.
1.    When ipakita starts,1 episode is all about Elena's hard ife without parents and fact that Stefan is a vampire. Elena walks to the cemetry and the song is playing 'Do you know where your puso is? Do you think you can find it?' and she's walking into the cemetry and Damon is waiting for her there. Her puso was there,with Damon,from the beggining.
2.    Then,there is a fact that we all well know,but I have to mention it: Bonnie touched Elena and she saw Damon,not Stefan,but Damon. It's destiny,it's just...in my opinion Bonnie could've seen that Stefan saved Elena from the car accident,but no-she saw Damon and that was very big moment.
3.    I think writers could'vr made Elena meet Damon in the pilot,that would be ordinary,ok,but that wouldn't be epic. So,Elena met Damon in segundo episode,the night of the comet. That coment comes back every 175 years and on that day,I believe,something special happens-Elena meeting Damon. Maybe it sounds lika a coindence,but for me that's a huuuuge thing.
4.    Damon and Elena had 'understanding' from the very first moment and he coul've read her mind very first moment he laid eyes on her. Some would say that Damon,in their real first meeting,didn't know she wasn't Katherine,because he said:'Katherine?',but when she looked up at him his face changed,he saw the change,he saw that she wasn't Katherine and he knew it. He never saw her before,but he could've felt conection between the two of them and so could she. I mean she just told him a big secret and all she knew about him was that his name is Damon. She trusted him and she was flirting with him all the time. If he didn't make her forget she would never,but never fall for Stefan,I'm pretty 100% sure,but...Damon wanted Elena to find what she wants,he didn't want to just give her that. She needed to go sa pamamagitan ng the life and feel life,make mistakes and be human,but their pag-ibig happend,no one and nothing forced it,because they are destined to be together and one araw she'll find a way to him.Damon always loved her and he always will.It's same with her,but we have to be patient before she finds it out.
5.    In 2x08 Damon is confesing his pag-ibig for Elena,he's telling her that he loves her,but it's selfish from him to feel so,and he is telling her that he doesn't deserve her,but his brother does. The song that's playing is 'I was wrong' and it's not just a song. We all know that was probably the biggest moment for DE and that 'I pag-ibig you' will be very important for the rest of series so they wouldn't just choose one song. It has meaning. Btw. Julie and Kevin both sinabi that they knew the endgame in 2x07 where Elena tells Stefan she can't be with him and in the susunod episode Damon is telling her he loves her durning this song...it's all conected,you just have to see it.
6.    In 2x21 is Jenna's funeral and while Elena is crying there's John's letter to her. It's DE scene and John's letter says:'As a human(camera on Elena) or as a vampire(camera on Damon) I pag-ibig you all the same,as I've always loved you(read 4. Reason last sentence) and I always will.'-it's the actualy time where I found out Damon and Elena will end up together. I was their tagahanga almost always,but till that moment I never thought they will end up together,but now,a taon after that episode I know it with everything I'm.And that scene and quote is important for them in the susunod season: It just sinabi that Damon will pag-ibig her as a human or as avampire all the same,nothing can ever change that...but will Stefan be able to pag-ibig a monster Elena? Probably,yes...but never the same.
7.    Elena sinabi 'When it's real you can't walk away' in 1x11,and two episodes before Stefan walked away,but Damon never did. He didn't walk away from her in 3x10,he just couldn't,he needed to halik her no matter what-because it's real. In 3x19 Elena couldn't walk aways from him,she tried to,but she couldn't-because it's real. That sentence has the big meaning too.
8.    When Elena said:'Damon consumes me' that probably didn't mean a lot to you because she didn't pick him,but see: In the flasback,Damon is 'reading her mind' sa pamamagitan ng saying that she wants a pag-ibig that consumes her,passionate love,advanture and a little bit dangerous. She accepted it because she knew it was true and now,2 years after that she says Damon is the one that makes he feel so...when I was watching a scene I just said:'It's written.Julie just told us that the true pag-ibig story,that ENDGAME is Delena and that it was like that from the beggining.'
ALWAYS,DAMON AND ELENA ARE FOR ALWAYS! Stefan is for now,but Damon is for forever,it's just sinabi so. You know,before the episode I was in SE tagahanga club and one girl sinabi that she thinks Elena will pick Damon now because it's what she wants now,but she siad it menas that Stefan is forever. It tourned out differently,Elena chose Stefan,so practicly,Damon is forever. She would now probably say that Stefan is for forever no matter what,but that's our shipper puso that speaking for us. It's maybe hard to look on DE like I do after everything that happend,but I now,more than ever belive in Damon and Elena and if you're really see the ipakita and the point of it,you'll see what I see and now the truth: Elena belong to Damon,not because he is her soulmate,epic pag-ibig or anything else...it's because she is that kind of girl.She belongs to Damon because she is that type,his type,his women.And she always will be.
