anyone else beside finds it funny that asong babae Barbie (Caroline) only thanked Damon for offering her a drink but never sinabi thank you for saving her and Tyler’s lives??
Damon has saved Caroline’s life FIVE times and Tyler’s life once.1) in 1x09 when Logan kidnapped her he and dick “saint” saved her life (though she doesn’t remember because she passed out, and regardless of the reason he still saved her life told dick to get her out of there he could have just simply taken his revenge on Logan with no regards to her but he made sure she’s ok), 2) he saved her life for Elena’s sake in 2x01 (even though he didn’t want to but he did it anyway) 3) helped dick “saint” save her from the mga asong lobo in 2x13
4) saved her and Tyler’s life from the sacrifice in 2x20 (yes because he was trying to stop Elena from being sacrificed but he still saved her) 5) saved her from Tyler’s bite and got bitten instead in 2x20.
afterwards in S3 he kept her best friend ligtas and happy and helped her through her hardest times she had, and never once made any ilipat on her while dick “saint” wasn’t there, “erased” her father’s memories so he wouldn’t hurt her anymore, tried to SCARE NOT kill him TO SCARE him so he would leave town and wouldn’t hurt Caroline anymore, lets Caroline take any shot on him and never response to her he just let her have her judgmental eye on him.
YET after ALL OF THIS she NEVER once thanked him and only thanked him for a drink really??? yes i know what Damon did to her using her his own personal blood bag and erasing her memories of him being a vampire (because her NEVER raped her) was awful but ever since then he’s been treating her as good as he can, but she NEVER even gave him a chance i’m not saying she should forgive him but she at least consider all the things he has done for and her friends. i mean she couldn’t forgive Damon for what he did to her over a taon and half nakaraan EVEN after saving her life multiple times but she was able to forgive dick “saint” THREATENING to turn Elena and KILL her on the SAME BRIDGE Elena’s parents died all for the sake of revenge, she even forgive her for LETTING Elena DIE, but she was able to IGNOR all the good things has done in S3. i find funny that the only time she was decent to him was over her prom not being perfect just goes to ipakita you how SHALLOW Caroline STILL is

Stefan is way to nice-nice with Elena! He needs to be himself around her otherwise it is fake and everyone knows a fake relationship never ever works out well. Whenever Elena is around Damon she is happy and Damon isn't afraid to be himself around her. Sure they (Damon and Elena) have had their ups and downs, but they always manage to work it out in the end which proves that their relationship is much stronger than Stefan and Elena's! Stefan never tells Elena not to something, especially when she shouldn't do it. Damon would make sure that Elena would not do anything that could get her hurt.
Another reason is that Stefan can't control himself, he is a danger to the people around him because you never know when he will go off the rails and hurt someone. Damon does get mad and does stupid stuff, but he would never hurt Elena, no matter what!
