Leomon returns as SaberLeomon, and saves Joe and Mimi from MetalEtemon. He is later destroyed sa pamamagitan ng MetalEtemon when he attemps to save Mimi. Zudomon manages to defeat MetalEtemon.
As the DigiDestined continue their search, Matt and T.K. run into Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon, two servants of Myotismon who are far madami interested in having fun than helping Myotismon.
Tai and Agumon return to the Digital World to find Tokomon. Tokomon relays what has happened in the time (which is several weeks in DigiWorld time) they have been gone.
Tai and Koromon spend a couple hours in Tokyo and meet with Kari. They discover that Digimon are appearing randomly in the Real World and conclude that they must go back to the Digital World and help their friends.
Mimi and Palmon are harassed sa pamamagitan ng Sukamon and Chuumon. After escaping them, they tumawid over to the susunod island where Izzy and Tentomon landed. After they reunite, Mimi and Tentomon get Nawawala in a labyrinth and are attacked sa pamamagitan ng Centarumon.
Tai and Agumon land on a snow covered island and are forced to defeat a Frigimon. After destroying the Black Gear that was controlling him, they tumawid over to the island were Matt and Gabumon landed.
While escaping Numemon who attacked the group in the sewers on their way out of the factory, the kids are split up and Mimi ends up in Toy Town after being attacked sa pamamagitan ng a Monzaemon.
A Meramon attacks a Yokomon village where the group is resting. Biyomon Digivolves to Birdramon to defeat him, causing a Black Gear to be expelled from his body.
The kids come across a tabing-dagat with numerous phone booths, none of them work. A Shellmon appears and attacks the kids. Agumon Digivolves to Greymon and blasts him away.
Ken, angry at his inability to control SkullGreymon, works on his Dark Ring. Wormmon, in the hope that Ken might use him in his experiments, frees Agumon.
