My fauvorite disney heroines are Mulan, Easmeralda and Megara. And I'd like to found out why the two of them aren't considered princesses while Mulan is. Anyone who can tell me?

i totally disagree with others about the "money thing".
these two ladies r not considered princesses because they r not the main characters.
it's true that hasmin is not the main character of the movie but she is a princess, pocahontas is the daughter of the chief so she is a princess (to her people)
besides, there is this whole royalty thing, of course Mulan is an exception because she is an Asian princess , but both Easmeralda and Megara r not royal.

Because their pelikula didn't make as much money as Mulan.

Because they weren't good role mga model for young girls (too sexy), their pelikula weren't as successful as the others, and Disney needed Mulan as an Asian Princess so that they wouldn't be accused of racism.

Most of the princesses are actually royals, they just made the Mulan exception for the whole "racism" thing I mentioned. They weren't about to add two girls who weren't princesses if they didn't have to.

Mulan definitely made the most money out of the three of them. Also, Esmeralda's movie was quite the pinagmulan of controversy, as Hunchback is easily the darkest movie Disney has ever produced in my opinion. Some people probably were offended sa pamamagitan ng some things in the movie.

I don't really think people paid attention to Meg. It was madami about the battle b/w Herc and Hades.
