Thirteen princesses, which one should I take?
Thirteen princesses, which one should I take?
I've made quite a few artikulo since joining this site, but the artikulo that I should've made at the beginning, my favorites article, is finally here! Read at your own risk though: this artikulo contains opinions unpopular and popular, nagyelo spoilers and really terrible ocean puns. You've been warned.

11) Ariel
She's been my least paborito DP for quite some time, and I'm shore she won't go up on my listahan anytime soon. I've always found her to be whiny, spoiled and shellfish, and although I admire her spirit and determination, I fish she was less self-centered. I know a lot of people really pag-ibig her, but I hope at least some sea my point.

WATER you trying to prove with all these puns?
WATER you trying to prove with all these puns?

10)Pocahontas
Some of the DPs have moved up on my listahan since joining Fanpop, as I realize good things I didn't notice before about them. Not so for Pocahontas. What happened, you ask? I re-watched her movie, and my opinion of her changed from a 'good opinion' to 'no opinion'. I do kind of like her playful personality in the beginning, but I just can't relate to or feel for her for the most part.

Eh, you just be halaya of my fluorescent leaves
Eh, you just be halaya of my fluorescent leaves

9) Jasmine
hasmin has moved up one place on my list, but that's only because I like Pocahontas less. Aurora and hasmin are basically tied though, because I find them both to have the least character development out of the DPs. But I like hasmin a bit less because I find her to be irresponsible and a little bit of a hypocrite. She's constantly switching places with Aurora though.

 Ninth place? What a fool...
Ninth place? What a fool...

8) Aurora
A few weeks ago, I saw Sleeping Beauty for the first time in years, and Aurora moved up to fifth. I recently watched her movie again, and now she's eighth. I like what we see of her dreamy but dutiful personality, and in fact I am very similar to Aurora, but what stops me from liking her madami is her lack of screen-time and character development. She is almost exactly the same at the end of the movie as she is at the beginning.

Wait, that isn't a one, is it?
Wait, that isn't a one, is it?

7) Snow White
Okay, we're moving from the DPs I'm indifferent to to the ones that I like. I like Snow White's optimism and trusting nature, as well as her ability to whistle while she works, even though I'm a pessimist with trust issues who can't whistle and works with the surliest expression I can muster. I guess our differences just make her madami admirable for me. I also really like her sassy and assertive nature, and the only thing keeping her from sixth is that I like Mulan a tiny bit more.

Oh, well would you look at that! Seventh place!
Oh, well would you look at that! Seventh place!

6) Mulan
Hmm, it seems almost everyone has Mulan in their tuktok five but me! Not that I don't pag-ibig her, of course. I like her relatable personality, as well as how she only wants to protect and bring honor to her family. It seems that she, Anna and Rapunzel are the 'awkward' princesses, and I kind of like awkwardness in a character. But the fact that I pag-ibig the others madami keeps her from the tuktok five.

Ugh, what did I do this time?
Ugh, what did I do this time?

5) Sinderella & Rapunzel
I couldn't decide which one of them I wanted in my tuktok five, so I settled on a tie as I pag-ibig these two equally. I pag-ibig Cinderella's patience and determination to not let her unhappy life depress her, although I think she can be a bit too patient. I also pag-ibig her slightly sarcastic attitude. As for Rapunzel, I pag-ibig her pag-ibig of life, her adorkableness and her character development. I seriously pag-ibig these two so much that deciding between them would be impossible.

Well I am practically perfect in every way / OMGOMGOMG
Well I am practically perfect in every way / OMGOMGOMG

4) Anna
I pag-ibig Anna a lot! She's probably one of the most co-dependent, naïve princesses out there, but that doesn't make me like her less! Flawed characters are great when done well. And I pag-ibig her resilience, her determination, and her little quirks like sliding around in socks and her special knock on Elsa's door.

(don't look at the fourth place, fourth places smell fear, don't look don't look)
(don't look at the fourth place, fourth places smell fear, don't look don't look)

3) Merida
Just in time for her month, Merida has moved up on my list! I pag-ibig her adventurous spirit and determination to be herself, as well as the heartfelt and tear-bringing apology she gives to her mother at the end of the movie. She isn't very traditionally feminine or anything, but neither am I!

Wow, so this is what it's like to be high on someone's list!
Wow, so this is what it's like to be high on someone's list!

2) Tiana
She is so great! I pag-ibig what a hard worker she is, and her pangkalahatang sass. Her determination for her dream is really admirable, and I think she is probably the DP who works the hardest to achieve that dream. I don't think she'll ever ilipat down from this place in my list.

segundo place! Free beignets for everyone!
Second place! Free beignets for everyone!

1) Belle & Elsa
As soon as Frozen ended, I knew I'd have a tough time choosing between Belle and Elsa for my paborito princess, so in the end I settled on a tie. I pag-ibig how Belle doesn't take anyone's crap, her intelligence, her ability to look beyond appearances, and her sass (like when she deals with Cogsworth, Beast and Gaston). As for Elsa, I pag-ibig her sense of duty, her pag-ibig for Anna, her elegance and poise, and her pangkalahatang tragic and complex character. Ugh, I just pag-ibig these two so much!

Here we'll stand and here we'll stay!

So, that was my favorites article. I hope you weren't too disappointed. Hopefully the bad ocean puns didn't kill you, and if they didn't, thank you for pagbaba and I hope you liked it!

...Although I doubt you liked it, but whatever.

 Hope you enjoyed!

Seriously, if these three were princesses they'd be #1
Seriously, if these three were princesses they'd be #1
Oh my god! This is literally the hardest countdown I've ever done! I did this listahan awhile back and my opinion has changed radically on all the princesses. With my favourites list, one princess moved, with this listahan they've all changed places, I used math to help me rank them and I was surprised, especially sa pamamagitan ng my #8. I gave each of them scores of 1-10 for three different areas, face, body and hair. Then added it up. No one got 30 as their final score. Funny enough, even though they're princesses, none of them are perfect. To be honest I'm only sure about my tuktok two, this listahan could change again...

I'm sure we all know how old most of the Disney Princesses are since we get to know it from their movies, but some of them has a different age in their original and some aren't even mentioned, but this is mainly what other have said, but it's also my guessings on some of them. Anyways enjoy!

Snow White:
There has been many discussions on how old she is in the Disney movie since it's never mentioned, but if you didn't knew it already she's 14 in the Disney version. In the original fairytale she's only 7 years old as most of us know, but did you knew that in most of the newer versions of the classic...

This film tells the story of a sixteen taon old mermaid Ariel who is dissatisfied greatly with her life under the sea. Regardless of her awareness of the forbidden contact between humans and sea people, Ariel strives to become part of the human world. Hiding in her secret cave, Ursula, who has been looking for a chance...

Alright, this is going to contain critical and possibly controversial opinions about nagyelo and Tangled, as well as other things, so if you can't stand to hear these pelikula badmouthed I'd suggest that you skip this article. Now that you've been suitably warned, on with the article!

MARKETING

The first that you see of new Disney characters is almost always through promotional rendered images, so that's where we are going to start in this dissection of Disney's character design.

To begin, let's look at some of the earlier promotional art of Elsa and Anna:...

Recently, I saw a poll on this club about which House Rapunzel would be in at Hogwarts, which got me thinking about that tanong in relation to all the princesses. I’m an avid Harry Potter fan, so I figured I would lend my unique insights on the matter to all of you lovely people.

But before I begin my analyses, it’s time for some disclaimers!

1. About the Houses. Here’s how I tend to think of the Houses of Hogwarts. (Note: I will be saying the most about Slytherin, since Slytherin is most often distorted.)

Gryffindor: values bravery, daring, bold decision-making, rule-breaking, following...
