At dinner, the night was pleasantly inviting. "How far along are you, Pocahontas?" Mulan asked. "I'm 5 months." Pocahontas answered. "My mom's also 5 months." Merida replied. Pocahontas got all excited. "Your mother's also pregnant?" she asked. Merida nodded. "They think it's twins." she said. "Twins? Didn't she have triplets?" John asked. Merida nodded again.
Shang hadn't sinabi anything. "You're being awfully quiet." Pocahontas said. "I just don't have anything to say." Shang replied. "You don't have anything to say? The last time we were here, you nearly talked our eardrums out!" John joked. Merida laughed. "Very funny." Shang sinabi sarcastically. "Shang, I can sense your troubles." Pocahontas said. "Who sinabi I was in trouble?" Shang tried to joke. "Really Shang?" Merida tutted. John was the king of joking, and everybody knew that.
Late that night after everyone went to bed, Merida woke up to Shang snoring a couple rooms down. She turned over as she out her unan over her head. "I miss you, mother." she sinabi to herself. She looked at Pocahontas and John, who were sleeping peacefully in the room susunod to her. Now that Pocahontas was starting to show, John had his hand gently placed on her tiny bump. Merida smiled at the sight. She then felt herself get tired again and went back to sleep.
The susunod morning, Merida woke up after everyone else. "You snore, General." she heard Mulan say. "Now you've noticed!" Merida whispered sarcastically. She dragged herself out of kama to sumali the others. "Wingapo, Merida!" Pocahontas greeted. "Good morning. Shang, I heard you snorin' yer head off." Merida babbled. Mulan and John were about to fall over laughing.
"What did you hear, Merida?" Shang asked slightly embarrassed. "I over-heard Mulan sayin' the same thing." Merida answered being simple. "Merida, it's not polite to eavesdrop." John replied. "Who sinabi I was eavesdroppin'?" Merida asked getting embarrassed herself. Shang couldn't help but laugh. *I think this is one step closer to them bonding!* Mulan thought about him and Merida. Yet, she knew she couldn't second-guess herself, but she enjoyed every segundo of this moment.
Merida held Ping while Mulan cooked breakfast. "Hey there, little guy!" John greeted. Ping waved his arms. "Smart fellow already." John said. "I really want to be mga kaibigan with Shang." Merida confessed. "From what I just saw, I think he's slowly starting to allow himself to be mga kaibigan with YOU." John replied. Merida looked at him in a way she never looked at him before.
"You really mean that?" she asked. "Every word." John answered. "I'm already closer with my mom madami than ever, and I want to be close with Shang." Merida replied. Mulan suddenly summoned John to come in the kitchen. "I'll be back." John sinabi as he walked off. "What is this about?" he asked. "I have an idea." Mulan answered whispering.
"We set up a little apoy outside and we arrange for them to bond while we go in." Pocahontas stated. "Did you agree with her?" John asked. "I mainly helped." Pocahontas answered. "Pocahontas, I knew you were a master of 'co-thinking' things, but I'm not sure if this'll work." John confessed. "It's the only solution." Mulan added. They may not arrange for Shang and Merida to bond, but arrange was the only other word they could use. All they could do now was see how all of it went that night.
