This is another sequel I haven't seen in forever. Longer than forever, actually. I would say I'm excited to watch this but after Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World I'm not looking pasulong to watching this one.

Tonight's rewatch: Sinderella II: Dreams Come True
Last time watched: 2002

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The beginning of this story is exactly the same as the one about Pocahontas 2; I wasn't into the original that much when I was a kid, but then this cartoon Disney movie with familiar faces came out, begged my dad to get me a copy, fin. But unlike Pocahontas 2 I actually did like watching this movie for the most part. I liked the first story about Sinderella adjusting to palace life and the third story about Anastasia finding pag-ibig but the middle story was just sort of "meh" to me. Even though I had the dvd I didn't watch this movie too much, only a few times after getting the dvd.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

I forgot the mice were easier to understand in this movie so that's one nice change I'm happy about. I wish the mice were as excitable and talkative like they were in the first movie though.

I totally forgot that Sinderella not only had human mga kaibigan (apparently?), one of those mga kaibigan was the baker Anastasia falls for. I'm surprised that never came up at all in Anastasia's story.

After watching the original I have to say I'm confused that there was a rule that commoners couldn't be at the banquet when in the original there was a ball where all the eligible maidens, commoners included, were allowed to attend. I know they were two different balls, but the ball in the original involved the Prince finding a bride. If the King is fine with a commoner marrying his son, why not a bunch of commoners at a banquet?

I know in the remake Sinderella sinabi she forgave the stepmother but in the original there isn't any indication that she would ever forgive her stepfamily so why would her stepfamily want to go to Cinderella's ball and why would she invite them? I didn't have a problem with Sinderella helping Anastasia since Sinderella has always been kind and patient and Anastasia was still the same Anastasia. I liked that Anastasia didn't reform quickly and we see a different side of her instead of her just being an evil, ugly stepsister and I liked that Lady Tremaine didn't randomly become good in the end during Anastasia's story but I wish the movie showed madami of what Drizella was thinking at the end or did a story for her too.

And I guess Disney forgot about Cinderella's horse from the first movie, Major. And the original ballroom too, I guess? Unless this palace has multiple ballrooms?

Movie:
This movie seemed madami about teaching children to be true to yourself like Enchanted Tales was. It was still an interesting movie to watch and it was a likeable sequel. None of the original characters were too ooc and there might be some things I'd like to change like some of the modern jokes and the songs but it was still fun to watch.

Rating: 6/10

How much has my opinion changed?
I liked watching it and I had some fun watch. But, once again, I was bored during the story about Jaq becoming human and was just waiting for it to be over and I didn't care for the fat jokes in that story. The story about Sinderella and the one about Anastasia are still my favorites, at least.

Would I watch it again?
Maybe if I was watching with children

susunod movie will be the Cindella remake!

We 've learned a lot of lessons about live from Disney Princesses. We've learned the importance of support, the romance and the patience,
For Example, Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora,
They believe in their princes and are patient. Snow White is definately just like women of nakaraan eras with their romances. She's shy and hides from the prince just like nakaraan eras girls as talking to men was probably considered innapropriate in nakaraan eras and that was probably what most women in her era did. They had no other choice that being patient and believe in their pag-ibig interest. And furthemore, dream...

Now that I've seen Frozen, here's my listahan as it currently stands. Certain princesses have grown on me, others have fallen. This listahan isn't really concrete though.

13. Merida
The only princess I truly dislike. To me, she's the equivalent of Princess Fiona from Shrek, just a Disney Princess parody. A cookie cutter cliche. There's susunod to nothing unique about her, and the few unique traits that she does have are awful ones, bad etiquette. Yeah, so for me, Merida is the redheaded stepchild of the DP line-up. Sorry.

12. Aurora
A regal and ethereal goddess with the voice of an angel. The epitome...

Yesterday, wrote an artikulo about my grievances with Merida and Brave, it's been deleted. I realized kind of being unreasonable and unfair to both Merida and her movies. Paying only attention to the negative, ignoring the positive and blowing the negative out of proportion. I don't wanna be a negative Nancy and biased hater. Because then I'd be the type of tagahanga I despise. Especially Ariel haters. So let me start over, with what I like about Merida and Brave.

What I like
-Her relationship with her mother is very well down, and very realistic. And to me, the only bright spot about the movie and...
