I thought I had finally found him. Everything was great. He was sweet, funny, and very affectionate. He was genuine; the real deal, or so I thought. He took me out to a nice hapunan on Valentine's Day...everything was perfect. Later that night, we were on the sopa watching a movie, and I had laid my head in his lap, and he was running his fingers through my hair. He bent down and kissed me, looked deep into my eyes and told me that he loved me. I almost didn't know what to say...I was a little shocked, b/c of my past experiences. I told him that I loved him too. After that night, he began to act weird. He was very quiet and distant. That following Friday he sent me a text. It said, "I don't think I can do this anymore. I thought I could make this work, but I just can't. I can't explain why, but I'm emotionally detached. I can't feel anything; anger, regret, love, sadness...nothing. It's not your fault and I am sorry to have put you through this."
I wanted to scream "WTF?!". How does one go from telling you that they pag-ibig you, to "oh...sorry...I'm a retard when it comes to feelings". I was hurt and mad. But there's ALWAYS a silver lining...
A week nakaraan I met a guy, named Bryan. Tall, and extremly handsome ;) We've gone out a few times. On our last date, two days ago, we were talking about movies. He asked me what my paborito movie was, and I told him Cinderella. He just looked at me and smiled. I thought great...he probably thinks I'm weird now. He sinabi "I pag-ibig all those movies...I could sing you any song from those movies". I laughed and sinabi whatever. Later we went back to his hosue, and I went to use his bathroom. When I came out, I heard music...a piano playing. I walked into his living room, and he was sitting at the piano playing it. He was playing "Part of Your World". I almost died. So, I finally found a man who likes Disney as much as I do. It's like they say...when God closes a door, somewhere he opens a window.
