but this and other women as allies (though sadly I don't have many female friends anymore- not because I don't get along with women of course, they just drifted away). you know those "guys' girls" types who brag about how much better they are than other women and how they have no girl friends, just guys, cuz "women are too catty and jealous" to get male attention? There's precious few kinds of people I dislike more than those who willfully hate their own sex to impress people. we need solidarity (guys with guys, too). stop encouraging women to hate each other and encouraging men to think women who hate other women are awesome.
I agree vulnerable isn't the opposite of power but being emotionally unstable sure is. Elsa's problem was she kept telling herself she was in control when she very obviously was not, just like most people.
