If you asked me, then the answers is NEITHER. I don't get why people keep saying that classic princesses are the most hated, how?? All I see they're just criticized for being too passive and doing nothing, just that. And I don't see it as hatred towards them. They're just don't fit with modern peoples.

Renaissance and Revival are getting more undeserved hatred much more than the Classics.

I don't think any of these princesses truly gets hate, but they do get negative criticism sometimes. And in that case, I'd say Snow White is least deserving of it. It's true she's one of my favorites, so that's probably partly why I'd defend her first out of them, but she's a pleasant character who tries to do her part. She doesn't take advantage of others and is really caring. (Cinderella is a close second.)

The criticism Cinderella gets is underserved, as she's a victim of abuse. She's actually a lot braver than most people (beyond fanpop) give her credit for.

All three of them, actually. But on Fanpop alone, the least liked of the Classic princesses is Snow White.

^I AGREE one zillion percent with Disnerdtobe. That's why I think the modern princesses aren't amazing at all, and some of them actually suck.

All of them get undeserving hate, but I think Cinderella's criticisms are the most undeserved because a lot of them are flat out wrong. She's not a doormat who doesn't do anything. She's actually extremely bitter about her situation and tries her best with the resources she has available to get out of it.

I agree with the comment above me, Aurora is always on the bottom of peoples favorite Disney princesses and I don't get it. She's so nice and doesn't deserve any hate.

Depends who is discussing them. Of people who generally enjoy the Disney Princess movies and have watched them properly, I would say Snow White gets the most undeserved hate. Of the people who haven't watched any of the movies for 20+ years, Cinderella seems to get the most undeserved hate.

I never understand why people say Snow White is scared of everything when she just had that one scene in the forest which would scare just about anyone

She is often painted as cowardly drama queen, while she had very good reasons to be scared and sad. I think she is optimistic and brave for a person who faced such situation.

Snow and Cindy. I kinda get the criticism but they're still sweet and likable characters who go through a lot. Besides, since Disney's had different female characters since then, i think it's go for these two to still be around.

Plus the animal characters are much worse in terms of female representation and nobody complains about them (Georgette, Nala, Vixey).

Aurora gets hate the more popular she gets (and she is getting more fans in recent times) but mostly she's been ignored. Snow has gotten pretty consistent hate for decades for her housewifely, romantic, old timey personality and values.

Cinderella has been hated a lot too, but she's been the favorite of them all for a long time and over the past decade has gotten a lot of defenders and people reexamining her character as more feminist friendly than previously thought.

Each gets pretty much the same type of hate though, and it's weirdly cherry picked stuff that they ignore in the modern princesses. All the newer girls needed a man's help or did something for a man, most have romances, all had a "damsel" moment.

Also, I'd love to see all this hatred the extremely loved Renaissance girls get. Revival gets hate but it's mostly Merida, Anna and occasionally Elsa, and for totally different reasons, and it's based more on their poor decisions rather than stupid reasons like being too romantic or passive when they had no other choice.
