^I will set some ground rules; like the heroines will all be animated, there's no restriction for if the heroine sings in her movie or if she ends up with anyone, and I might make a vote deduction role for anybody who says "this person isn't a princess" or "this person doesn't sing" or "this person doesn't end up with anybody" If it gets heated or if someone gets upset about the idea of a character being in a lineup then that will be their problem

^I agree that would be a little drastic. I just want to make sure we avoid people saying that as the reason they don't want someone in the lineup when there's at least 2 princesses in the lineup who either aren't princesses, don't sing, or don't be with anybody. I'll be putting this countdown up in a day or two so I'll think about whether the vote deduction is really necessary or not

I agree with disnerdtobe. Tbh the fans tend to have double standards about which heroine should be a DP or not.

I think the point deduction rule isn't good, because those are legitimate reasons to not put people in the lineup. I agree it should only be animated characters, but are there any other rules? Like do they have to be the female lead of the movie? Like, would you include Nakoma, or Audrey Ramirez, girls who are heroines but not the main female leads? and would you include like Wendy, Alice, Shanti? Just wondering what would be the criteria. Like Megara, Jane, Esmeralda, Kida, are obvious choices. But what about Nani? She's not the main heroine of her film (Lilo is) but she's strong, capable, and relatable. Would it just be all Disney animated human heroines?

Disney/Pixar animated heroines who are humans and animals, girl heroines of any role as long as they're shown for more than one scene, movies that were theatrical released only so no sequel girls like Kiara or Melody, characters of all ages like Duchess from Aristocats

^In my opinion, I would put it to a poll of fanpop users whether or not animal heroines should be included. In my experience most users are vehemently against animal heroines being in the lineup, so it may be a waste of your time to include them. Same for Pixar heroines.

I'll put up a poll for animal/car heroines but I still want to put up pixar heroines since Merida is pixar

^yeah, I know. People still argue about Merida being in the lineup. But definitely non-human heroines.
